Hi Paul, thank you for your help.

The solution you gave fixed the problem, but there is a side effect on the mod "Members who have visited today" :(

Hi Paul, what I have to do to avoid this side effect on the "Members who have visited today" mod?

I'm waiting to solve this issue to activate "track guest visit" mod, that is really one of the best mod I think :)

You cant without various bits of code editing. Im afriad its the supidity of IE8.

Updated due to the removal of the old collapse images in 4.1.11 - the replacement images are actually available in 4.1.8, 4.1.9 & 4.1.10 so you can update to the new version even if you havent upgraded from them to 4.1.11 yet. vBulletin versions prior to 4.1.8 are not supported by the current version (for 4.1.0 to 4.1.7 you can use the file prefixed with 417). vBulletin 4.0.x is not supported at all and no version is available to download.

I have tested this on 4.1.9 PL1 and 4.1.11 and it shows nothing on the footer or navbar drop down or any link any where on the navbar or sub navbar

Well that would be correct, as its not supposed to show anything in the footer or navbar.
