download the zip...
unzip..
upload the contents of the "upload" folder to your forum, it will place the appropriate files in the correct places..
now from the Admin Control Panel > Plugins & Products > Manage Products > Add/Import Product and browse to the product-yet_another_award_system-3.8.2.xml file..

Okay... I've been looking for over an hour now... I MUST be missing it.

I can't find the "Award System" to make up the awards.

I'm not even sure where the "AdminCP" is... I'm in my control panel... but the only place I see anything with Award System is under vBulletin Options.

What am I missing??

Thanks for your help in advance!!!

If you're seeing vBulletin Options, you're in AdminCP. ;)

awards.php is the file that allows you to request an award. You should also see a catergory called "Awards System" on the left side of the screen in AdminCP. This allows you to create awards that can be requested.

I've rated this mod as EXCELLENT.

May I make a suggestion?
Currently, if you award the same medal to the same user multiple times, it will display the medal images multiple times. Is it possible to make it to display the medal only once, and under that medal, you can state awarded x number of times, and list the award reason each time...

Something like this on the thread display file and the user profile page:

I have a question about this mod.
Could this mod award a medal automatically, when a user is registered on the board, for 1 year?

I just installed this, pretty nice. Could use an update, but runs fine.

However, it doesn't do what you're asking. I'm sure it could be made to do that though.

This was posted a while ago, but others (I did), might have the same question.

You have to do a search for the phrase you want to edit. The links in the control panel don't work. So open the Phrases and languages section, put in some matching text and search. It'll return what you want to change, then click edit.

Hay great mod. i am thinking of using it. but what does "Re-usable Code" mean?

Does it mean:
1. I can change the name of the mod and then make it my own. I.E. "118 Awards System"
2. I don't have to put credits/links to you "The Maker/Developer".

Can some one explain it to me please?

1. No. and 2. No.

You can not take this modification and claim it's yours when it isn't. To even think you could do so is just plain wrong.

What you CAN do is use snippets of the code to develop your own modification.
