Shows up on the forum but whenever messages are entered they do not appear. I've checked this thread and make any adjustments I thought would help, but nothing appears to have fixed it.

Does messages appear in the archives ? Did you see any error in ie (js errors) ?

Before i install, do the text colors save? If not, i'd like to request that before i install it.

wondering if theres any wrong with shoutbox since its lagging quite alot when theres more than 4 user chatting at same time. I have 2x Harpertown, 16 gb ram, 300 gb scsi 15000 rpm
so i dont think its the server load since its under 1

On installing another script I received an error message where the user messages should appear in the chatbox. It would seem that the GoldBrick media addon causes an error when using a chatbox. I have logged this error with them so we'll see what happens!

It is possible to select a text color from the usercp so that it is used each time.

Someone else reported me about that problem. The problem is not server side but user side.

I think the menu I added to the chatbox might have and their parsing upon shouts refresh might have lead to that lag problem.

I think I'll have to find another way to build the menu rather than using the vBulletin system. I'll not look at that for the release which is upcoming but will set this as top priority for the one after.

A way to diminish that problem is to set a number of shouts less important shown in the chatbox (something under 40-50) and warn your users of that problem until I release the next next version :) But don't worry I'll make it quick coz this is a non-acceptable issue. :)

I tried this hack and then uninstalled it. Now, when I tried to add another hack I am getting

MySQL Error : Unknown column 'mgc_cb_evo_permissions' in 'field list'

Can you tell me how to fix this or remove this mystery column that is still remaining after the uninstall??

You haven't followed carefully the uninstall procedure.

You have either to import product again, then remove chatbox files (especially in the includes/xml dir) and then remove the product.

Or remove the files and rebuild bitfields manually.
