Not that it matters as both systems are great and do what they are intended to do.

Not only that, but when I looked at his forum's URLs, the were being re-written w/o key words.

My guess was that DChapman was just testing or experimenting with stuff.

Yes, he is using vBSEO, and here is his rationale for the URL format he chose:

Think I'll give it up with zoints seo, the idea to make it open source is a good one, but on the community here it's not really supported.

I think I am having a problem with my archive pages...

For Example...
In Search engines i have a link of my archive like that....
Code:

http://www.sitename.net/vb/archive/index.php/t-10170.html
When I am clicking it , he is re-writing like that ;
Code:

http://www.sitename.net/vb/sitemap/index.php/http://www.sitename.net/vb/showthread.php/bu-isim-senin-neyin-oluyor-10170.html
And So My archive's homepage is opening....

How can I solve this problem and forward it to
Code:

ttp://www.sitename.net/vb/showthread.php/bu-isim-senin-neyin-oluyor-10170.html
..

ThanX ...

Yep, i've been dying to try a new url schema for quite awhile. vBSEO allows me to do that, whereas Zoints SEO does not. vBSEO allows for far more configuration options than Zoints SEO at present. You get what you pay for :)

I've tried it on multiple sites (even your own). I have noticed that vBSEO does not appear to have this issue and it is kind of odd since cookies shouldnt really matter.

Good find. I'll add that to the bugs list, thank you.

Hmm looks like another clue to our archive problem.

I'm having a problem:

Go to New Post on thread display no longer works since installing this hack. It simply goes to the forum home page.

Any Ideas guys?

Thanks,
Danny.

This looks so inviting and interesting .. pity it is not supported

werkkrew 10-14-2006 12:49 AM

I am having the same problem with the posts in my archive redirecting back to the main page.

On further inspection; Multi page threads are fine. Single page threads show the Go To New Post link as www.forumurl.com/#4346.

I'm assuming the fix is in the threadbit template, I just don't know where?
