No not an integration. Members now have to refresh a page to see the pager message but the vbshout has an automatic refresh in it so members can exchange messages without refreshing the forum index. There's a popup for the reciever when a message is send depending on the refreshrate of the shout which is rather high in most cases.

In the old sms and shoutbox system i had code connected to the refreshbutton so when people refreshed the shoutbox the pager/sms appeared. Now if that is possible it looks also possible with vbpager/vbshout. :)

It's already there!
vB Pager has its own AJAX refresh system, you don't need to refresh the page you're viewing to get a pager message!

Change the value for vB Pager AJAX check Period to x seconds.
let's try 5 seconds.

so every 5 seconds, ajax will check if there is a new pager message awaitng, and it will pop up without a manual refresh.

Thank you. Working well. However, in the navbar, there is always a number for Total. User has deleted all messages when he/she clicks on Pager Messages, but it still shows a Total number.

Any thoughts?

IE crashes as soon as you recieve a msg

any ideas ?

I have the latest IE and it doesn't crash.

Hi

I have installed and have this issue please see image,
Please can you let me know how to resolve this please as there is no way
to see all the message :(

Ps. the length/depth of the pager poup is about twice the length/depth of the forum lol
