What did you mean by bot can do announcement ?

i mean:

Bot = Userid

Question? = [announcement1]

Answer: /announcement "my annoucement1"

now it is typing it just into the chat and doesnt set the announcement1

tried to uninstall due to server load, but when i try to update my usergroups im getting an error

every time i update the admin settings im getting an error posted below, can anyone tell me how i can fix this as i have uninstalled the chatbox already but it still shows in the list of the yes/no boxes

hello, i have a problem displaying correctly the full mode page. there is not table borders when i click at a nickname. i reupload all the files but did not fixed.

When I enable sound notifications on new messages and a user disables the sound.
Upon refreshing the page the sound is turned on again.

Is their a way to remember the setting for each user? If no, will you be planning to add this function to the chatbox?

can one limit users access by making them make say 2 posts before accessing the shoutbox?

You can setup a "probationary" usergroup, and an auto promotion after x amount of posts made, and then just limit which usergroup can see the chat box.

i was hoping that i could just put in a number somewhere so users make a post/posts to see the chatbox everytime they come on within 24 hours.

The usergroup method you stated above, would that only apply the first time for posts then after that they wouldnt have to do it anymore?

Its just users are not posting much anymore and just chatting in the box, id like more posts to be made instead of my forum just being a chatroom.

Yes. I have a new members usergroup set up to where they cant see the chat box until the post 5 times. At which point they are automatically "promoted" to a full members usergroup, with chat box permissions.

*shrugs*.. Installed latest version on my local PC, works just fine! (Same database & files as the real forums) and if I upgrade it on the real forums, it keeps "loading ..." again.

My forum has just come up with a lot of errors after installing this VB 4.03.

I cant get into the admin panel to remove the product I just installed.

got it fixed. apparently yahoo does not allow ioncube or editing of the .ini file. note this that yahoo sucks as hosting. switched to hostgator and they seem to be pretty awesome. this chat mod is the best out right now. kudos to the creator!

Personally don't see how reverting templates has anything to do with it. I copied the real forums (themes, plugins, database) exactly the same to my local PC. It worked on my local PC, just not on the real forums.

It's like the server Apache or SQL version of the whole website/database is messing it up not being compatible with your chatbox.
