This is unfortunatly a deal breaker for me. My members want a chat screen but also want a sideblock with just the chats so they can be reading posts/threads and still chat.

Yea, although i am getting DB errors now because of the server upgrading php past 5.3 (i think)

You have a sidebar in your threads..!!?
If you add the chatbox to the navbar it shows on every page & people can keep up while they read & type posts.

Not sure what mod you use to get a sidebar in your threads, but...

If you have a licenced copy of vBShout v5.4.8 then you can download v6.0.7 Pro for free unless your licence has expired before that download was made available.
