Thanks for the reply.
1. Where do you mean the global permissions? In options? 2. I created one gallery and set all of those I wanted permission to but I still don't see the upload box. When I check the usergroups permissions it only asks me if I want to make that usergroup admin. |

I did, still nothing is showing up.

I'd really like to get this working. I purchased the classifieds from you and will do the same if it can be.
|
If you PM me with FTP and AdminCP information I can look into this @ Monday :)

Hi Fillip - haven't tried (yet!) can the importer for this import from Photopost Pro if it's running off a separate database and directory on the server? With PP now dead, looking to move a site over to this instead...

No problem, thanks Fillip.
Might be worth a look as I'm sure there's a number of PP Pro users who'd like a fairly easy way to jump that ship. |
When trying to upload images to the gallery, I get the below, and the image is not uploaded.

That usually means permissions were not set correctly, can you double-check this for me please?

If VB permissions, I'm Admin and have all of the permissions set properly on the Usergroup |
I'm getting the exact same code errors as Dragonsys. What permissions do we need to set Fillip?

Cheers guys! |
Can I try the light version to import my Photopost gallery? I do not want to get the pro version and then find out the import will not work.
##I have installed and I see the importer and I also see my installation of PP but when I run the importer is says it cannot find the files.. Where do I add a path for the PP image files? Thanks |

##Wait a second on that.. I forgot I renamed my gallery file. I am going to try again. Thanks
Still doing the same thing but I will let it run and see what happens. |
That means missing phrases, did you import the new XML file?
Fillip |
Yes I did import the xml and I also uploaded all the files.
A couple issues ## The import issue is the main file. I changed the name of the file and then added it to the settings but apparently it was still looking for the old default file.. The phrasing still isn't working. I will add these manually if I have time later. Images do appear to be importing now. :) |
I've re-generated the XML file, can you re-download and re-import and let me know if that works better for you?
Fillip |
Thanks my friend, I will give it a shot and will let you know.
|
No change at all Fillip.

No files were changed in this patch. Fillip |
Absolutely I did.
The only thing I can think of is Cloudflare is blocking it or some part of it though it shows the template being merged, etc.. I will try it tomorrow morning without cloudflare and see if that helps. Thanks |
Turns out it must have been cloudflare.
The only issue now is that it will run through pages and pages importing images but eventually it just stops. I have probably 100,000 images or more that need to be imported.. Any way I can import via command prompt? |
Quote:
There shouldn't be any timeout issues since it only imports a small amount of images at a time. The importer will stop on its own with an error message if it fails to import one or more of the images, but you will have the option to manually proceed to the next page. This is working as intended. Fillip |

does this not work with the seo product you have ? All my gallery images just have regular names not nice html names like my pages, thnks
|
What I was hoping is that the url would be SEO friendly since I am also using your SEO plugin
mine look like this dbtgallery.php?do=view_image&id=2125 not this gallery/[instance_name]/image/[image_id]-[image_title].html Like it says in the Gallery URL section of the SEO control panel - so the image title is not showing |

Just a caveat for others.... :)
I'd be real careful with this mod.. Downloaded [DBTech] DragonByte Gallery v1.3.4 [Lite] from DragonByte site to test on vBulletin 4.1.3pl8 Uploaded files and imported XML... Hung after updating various styles (hidden for site privacy in pic) and there never was a "finished" message. Note the odd character shown in pic after comment 1.2.3. I've seen this before in some of their other products and it may be a similar issue I reported and was acknowledged here, which is still not fixed... It seems to have the same last couple of characters hanging out there.. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=153 Quote:
The result was that the install blew up our entire site and the garbage shown in the other pic started appearing before home page display on main web site and within AdminCP ahead of showing installed mods. .... Fortunately, running un-install hopefully removed all of the additional tables this thing installed in our database, following which I manually removed all of the uploaded files. Site seems to be running normally again.... Regards, Doug |

If someone reports installation issues, I always offer to install the product for them if they can't get it working themselves. Would you be able to link me to your support ticket @ our site? I would imagine any reasonable person would ask for support before deciding to post "warnings" about a product that seemingly installs fine for everyone else, so if you could link me to your support ticket I'd be happy to investigate why it wasn't resolved to your satisfaction.
