how i unistall this?

deadlySniper 06-29-2011 04:55 AM

I have installed this and its not showing up on the default theme.

Black Widow 06-29-2011 09:26 AM

I have a problem.
When i put the mouse cursor on the thread title (in the forumdisplay page) it shows the content even if it is hidden.
So user can see the content without thanking even if the author checked the require thank option.

Also there is another issue.
The hidden content can be viewed if you display the page source in the following tags:
<meta name="keywords" content="[hidden content]" />
<meta name="description" content="[hidden content]" />

How can i fix these 2 issues?

Thanks.

Use the Uninstall function in the Product Manager :)

Wouldnt let me post the error, too many characters, this is whats at the bottom of the file

MySQL Error : Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes\par

DragonByte Tech 06-29-2011 03:03 PM

You need to contact your host and have them increase the max_allowed_packet variable in MySQL config file :)

Sorted it, uninstalled VBexperience and it worked fine, was planning to use Vbactivity anyway, so worked out perfectly..

DragonByte Tech 06-30-2011 02:34 PM

The issue will reappear when you install vBA or any other mod, though :p

Fillip

grey_goose 06-30-2011 11:35 PM

In the memberinfo activity list, the post link is off, it's adding a '1'...

forum/1showthread.php?p=xxxxx#postxxxxxxx

DragonByte Tech 07-04-2011 05:41 PM

That's not related to this mod I think, we use the standard vBulletin [POST] BBCode for linking to posts :)

Fillip

grey_goose 07-04-2011 08:08 PM

Yep, you're right. I have no idea what I did that caused it, but it disappeared.

Side note; any chance of getting the results moved into the postbit like on here? Or the button moved next to the Quote button? It would feel/look much more integrated than tacked on...

DragonByte Tech 07-04-2011 09:21 PM

We'll be changing the way you can position shit in the future :)

I love this mod,
but is possible to make this like this image?

It will be very better.. i don't like the "outside box" that it create....

Thanks!
Andrea

DragonByte Tech 07-07-2011 12:36 PM

That particular display is a Pro-only option, however the box is still created to house the actual list of people who clicked the buttons.

Now it works and i can see it.
Thank you! :)

LisaArnold 07-10-2011 09:43 AM

Thanks, works nicely with vB 4.1.4

@ DragonByte Tech
How did you get the yellow notice box containing the login details to stay on there after logging in on your Demo site?
Could you please let me know how to do that, as it's what I want for my site (I'm rebuilding it from scratch).

Thanks in advance

Lisa

DragonByte Tech 07-10-2011 04:10 PM

It's a permanent notice, generated via the Notice Manager in vBulletin :)

Fillip

thunderclap82 07-11-2011 03:41 PM

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I've uploaded the files and installed the plug-in, yet there is no way to Thank or Like a post. The stats are listed, but that's it. Help please.

DragonByte Tech 07-11-2011 03:51 PM

Did you follow the instructions in the Readme.txt file and set usergroup permissions?

Doh! Thanks.

thunderclap82 07-11-2011 05:04 PM

Is there a way to make it so the user who Liked or Disliked a post isn't named?

Also, is there a way to turn of users getting notifications when someone likes or dislikes a post?

xuanhuy238 07-12-2011 07:34 AM

I totally installed with 4.1.3 but there was nothing happened when I clicked on the button.

Neither of those are possible at this time, sorry.

Huh? Sorry, I'm a bit confused.

I'm using 4.1.4 and I've used other earlier versions, but it's (the notice) always disappeared once you log onto the forum/site. Is there anything special I need/can to do to make it stay there all the time?

wishtheend 07-18-2011 10:30 PM

I'm not sure where this problem is, but I installed an update to 4.1.4 today, and thought I'd try out this plug but I do not see any "button management" anywhere in Admin CP. Any ideas?

In the Notice Manager you can control if the notice can be dismissed and what usergroups it displays for :)

Please add yourself to Super Admin in the config.php and you'll see the options appear :)

Diddy Kong 07-19-2011 08:54 PM

How do I upload this mod?

Do I just upload the XML in the CP pluggin section?

Or do I need to do something else?

DragonByte Tech 07-19-2011 09:03 PM

Please read the supplied instructions .txt files for installation instructions :)

Thanks DragonByte,

I was sure I was already set as a Super Admin (I'm the one rebuilding our website from scratch), but I checked anyway, and Yes, I'm set as a Super Admin already, hence I'm already setup in the config.php file.

Could you please tell me the path of where I would find the Notice Manager as it's not visible from the main admin panel.

Thanks,
Lisa

DragonByte Tech 07-22-2011 11:59 AM

It's under "Notices" :)

BTW, GREAT Mod

kamakazy_kid 07-23-2011 08:35 AM

The "require like/thanks" tick boxes in the advanced texteditor do not show when:
"MARCO1 CKEditor Advanced Quick reply and Quick edit" is installed.

Fix?
