How do you tag a user with spaces in their usernames?

I'd like to do this without the need to enable the semi colon simply because tagging like this @username is standard in social realm, FB, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

I've got this issue too. Every time I try to install the plugin my forum disappears.

Yes it does, it says to upload the files to your forums directory.

It works fine with usernames with spaces in their names :)

Unfortunately I can't help you without more details like an error message :(

It seems when you quote someone through Tapatalk, the add-on will send you a notification saying you quoted them.

Any chance this will be fixed on your end soon?

In members profiles my [*post=89898] doesn't link to the post at all. It simply says :

mentioned Scottieboy08 in post [*post=88565]Re: IPO London 2013 LIVE FEED - Boylesports[*/post]

Of course without the *. But the actual post isn't linked

It would be awesome to be able to tag an entire usergroup in one shot.

That feature would be very useful especially when starting a threads specifically for moderators or admins or certain member groups.

Filip, This mod made me leave IPB, fantastic. I would like to know if is it possible to integrate the color group when mention someone, or with dome ajax effect onmouse over see the user basic informations.

People are still getting notified when they quote others...this really isn't helping the chances of me buying the pro version.

I'm still unable to reproduce that issue. The quote shows up in the quoter's profile, but the notification is only sent to the person that's quoted.

unfortunely, this product can't use in mobile (dartho's version).

I am having problem user tag is not working with @username when an user is using some font, color size , in short when I am doing @username bla bla and then formatting text, it dont work. Can we fix this or do we have any workaround?

This is by design. It will not work inside BBCode.

That's correct, it was explicitly designed to not work with modifications.

Well the last version was working correctly , after this upgrade, member started reporting this issue :(

It was changed in I believe v3.0 due to a swarm of reports about quote tags breaking when mentions were parsed there.

The old version was the incorrect behaviour, and this is the correct behaviour, not the other way around :)

Sorry, I don't know what mod you're referring to - this works fine with the built-in smilie box in vBulletin.

This one in particular yes.

I think this mod is adding weird garbled hashtag tags at the end of every link when enabled.

When I disable the mod, the #.Ua_XCvkm2So is gone.

Same applies with any other links/topic links as well.

It seems that if you tag someone that has a name that includes another username, the smaller username gets tagged.

For example if you try to tag @JohnM and you have a John, the user John will be tagged and not JohnM.

Are you able to replicate it 100% of the time in some way? If so, please provide detailed steps so that I can test it locally.

I've never heard of this issue happening at all before.

I'll test it again locally over the weekend, it was explicitly coded to do the opposite of what you're describing so it shouldn't happen.

In my experience, people just don't spell right the longer username. Check carefully how username should be spelled.

NVM I know what the problem is..

Two questions about this mod:

- If it's ever uninstalled, in locations where users tag @username, will the text "@username" still be displayed? Assuming yes.
- For the quotes tab in the profile. Is their a reason its not - or possible to make it - so that it shows post quotes instead of just quotes once this has been installed?

I'm on 4.2.1 and cannot find the statistics page anywhere. Any advice?

It will display [MENTION=userid]username[/MENTION] which vB may or may not parse into just "Username" - I don't know.
It's not possible to display historical data, unfortunately.

Have you made sure the navigation entries are enabled?
