LbR, isn't your issue more CSS related, as in the search box is floating over the top? If you were to stop it doing that and make it wrap underneath...?

I used a fixed width for my site to stop this from happening and saving me having to design for ALL resolutions.

How to do a fixed width, Please can you tell me :)?

Russ_T 09-28-2010 04:41 PM

Have a look in the style vars for content width I believe, change it from 100% to something like 960 px :)

Popa Andrei 09-28-2010 10:23 PM

Is there a way to use a vbphrase in the title?

I have 2 errors after install, one that others have:

PHP Code:

WarningUnexpected character in input''' (ASCII=39) state=1 in /home/halucero/public_html/includes/class_bootstrap.php(394) : eval()'d code on line 245

Parse error
syntax errorunexpected '<' in /home/halucero/public_html/includes/class_bootstrap.php(394) : eval()'d code on line 245

Second one appears when I try to see a thread after the first one and nothing is shown.

PHP Code:

WarningCannot modify header information headers already sent by (output started at [path]/includes/class_bootstrap.php(394) : eval()'d code:245) in [path]/vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo_url.php on line 542

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [path]/includes/class_bootstrap.php(394) : eval()'
d code:245in [path]/vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo_url.php on line 546

I have disable vbseo and the view of a thread is totally modified graphically (in the wrong way). Reenabeling makes appearing above errors and no thread is shown.

There is no tab appearing even if I set up new links and set permission to admin to see them.

I would love to have a fix for this as this mode is awesome :)

Sadly I need to uninstall it. :(

SnowBot 10-01-2010 06:11 PM

I have uninstall it but hhmm It has left a Tab on the navbar behind and I cant remove it.....Any clue how to remove the link?

S S0DEN 10-01-2010 06:54 PM

Installed, but I have a problem. In one style when installed I now have no forum display links anymore. My Forumhead_background image will show. But it now has a 7 pixle border on the top and bottom and no forum display link in the middle.

Also my active users display top to bottom instead of side to side.

Uninstalled this product, deleted uploaded files. Still messed up my style and reloading the original style XML file does not fix the issues.

S S0DEN 10-01-2010 08:16 PM

My default style is fine, but my other styles are affected. Even if I create a new style with no parents, that style is messed up in the same way. Help please.

SnowBot 10-01-2010 08:22 PM

Same issues for me to, it also has left a link behind after uninstall :(

Help :)

S S0DEN 10-01-2010 08:24 PM

Solved it myself, this product re-writes this: forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost I was able to see the edit in the CP and restored it to match my default style. Now I am searching for the verticle users online edit.

S S0DEN 10-01-2010 08:26 PM

I got the link off by removing the uploaded files /admincp/evbs_sstabs.php and /includes/xml/cpnav_evbs_sstab.xml

SnowBot 10-01-2010 08:36 PM

Hi I have removed the files but the link is still on the navbar :(

http://www.socialspace.co.uk/forum/forum.php The Resources link :(

I tried disabling it, uninstalling and even tried re-installing and adding and removing the link again...lol Nothing worked...AARRGG

S S0DEN 10-01-2010 08:42 PM

I would search through style manager > edit templates and take note of every template alteration made (shows in red), I used my default style as a backup and simply opened the edited template, copied the code in notepad, saved it with the correct name. Then I went into the same path in the default style, opened up the editor, copied the code. Went back to my style and replaced the code with the default code. I made sure to keep the old code in Notepad just in case I messed up.

Hope that helps, It has to be a Navbar edit somewere.

SnowBot 10-01-2010 08:49 PM

Thanks for the tip but it shows in my default styles and no templates are altered in that....

S S0DEN 10-01-2010 08:54 PM

Ahh man, I always leave my default template alone just in case... Maybe you can setup a dummy forum and use the default styles template code from there?

SnowBot 10-01-2010 08:56 PM

Yer, gunna have to......cheers but would be good to get some input from the coder here

I'm trying to add a link for a custom Mibbit IRC client, and I want it to use the user's username when they click the link (for when they connect to the client).

Here's what I've tried using:

Code:

http://widget.mibbit.com/?settings=379e1b7d399c49b4b0f9c3b4e1f98b83&server=irc.sa-mp.com&channel=%23NG-Gaming&nick={vb:raw bbuserinfo.username}

The trouble is that it doesn't parse the username in the link. Any suggestions?

bposner 10-19-2010 06:31 PM

I tried to enter a tab and now I have one, but there tab mode, user group and all columns are un available, and just a grey bar I can't delete the tab or add a new one

Nevermind, I solved it, just found the link off another tab and change the tap number

http:/www.mysite.com/forums/adminxxxx/evbs_sstabs.php?do=edit&tabid=6 <-- changed this number to the tab

Thanks

Ronseal 10-19-2010 07:06 PM

I've tried a few Tabs mods now and this is by far the most well thought-out, however I get the same issue with each Mod I've tried.

My problem is when I click on the 'New Tab' although I get taken to the correct page the tab isn't then highlighted, it just defaults to hightlight the 'forum' tab. This has got to be a really simple problem but it's driving mad, can anybody help me with a fix please.

Many thanks.

Ya, dont use this mod. Uninstalled.

preswylde 10-20-2010 03:12 AM

One small problem I'd love it if someone could address:

I installed this and it worked fine, but I decided that I had no real need for it after trying it out so I went to the products manager in AdminCP and selected uninstall. The hack uninstalled from the system, but after the uninstall was completed it left some undesirable remains of the product's settings menu in the sidebar of the AdminCP. I tried re-installing it and repeating the uninstall process, but still it leaves behind this mess. I don't need the hack on my vB4, but I also don't want that ugly mess it left behind on my AdminCP sidebar.

Tell me how to fix this please

The first time you installed it, do you remember uploading a couple of files? You probably do. Go back and find those and delete them.

preswylde 10-20-2010 07:34 AM

Thank you Infopro... that did the trick. I had deleted the php file before but I apparently had overlooked the xml in includes/xml

bond010007 10-21-2010 01:36 AM

i was looking for one like that thanks alot
