Just a quick suggestion, I don't know if it's been suggested before, but I think it'd be a pretty good addition..

When someone clicks on a link to a video, it'll automatically scroll the page down to where the videobit is, so the user doesn't have to scroll down to watch the video (for those with larger header/navbar templates)

I managed to do it myself, but I think it'd be a great addition for everyone else too ^^

The directory for this video-hoster api isn't wirteable!

dallibose, when you uploaded these files into their directories, you needed to CHMOD (change the permissions) on those directory folders. So, within your FTP program, right click on the folder/directory and make sure that all of the checkmarks appear in the permissions. You should see it as "777" as the code once it's all checked off.

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

How to get this to work....????

AdminCP >> Usergroups >> Click "Go" next to the usergroup you'd like to edit >> Look for Video-directory permissions

Set the permissions accordingly :up:

How can I show the Video units in postbit_legacy template ? I need it like:

Posts: xxx
Videos: xxx
Rep Power: xx

How can I put the "Videos:" part in there ? I tried to do something by template changes without success. Can you please help me with this ? I also tried to put the "total videos:" into FORUMHOME template and it also did not work.

How about adding the "What's going on" box to the index page as an option as well .. nice to see who else is currently viewing videos.

I was thinking of adding a segment to the upload script that alters an image to illuminated when I link is added, then use my standard cron to de-illuminate the image (just rotate with a 2nd image) when it's been more than 3 days since the last link. I have that image imbedded beside my Video Directory link.

I have question , i translate this Add to Arabic , its from right to left language , and so I made some modifying in Templates and files , and so , but the english is from left to right language ...

How can I re import a Video Directory original version (English) as second Video Directory in my VB , and my i have another Idea , like on directory for Sciences Videos , and another for Funny Clips , every Video Directory is Independent from another in SAME forum and database , without and conflicts or another problems...

Just Give me a hint not another copy modified ... if you can please :)

I get an arror I believe since the Control panel menu for Video Directory does not show any menus at all but BLANK

I was wondering if there is a possibility to integrate it in the forumsearch.

And is it possible when adding a videoclip the system will automatic check if it isn't already posted?

I've just noticed that the tags added for a video, in a private section, appear for all users in the tag cloud. Is there a way to prevent that and keep those tags "private" ?

Edit: Same goes for private videos who are visible by all in the "Recently Added Videos" page.

I've noticed with Megavideo videos, if the exact link already exists, it'll display a message telling you so. I'm not sure about other video hosts though..

This results in not being taken to the video directly; but rather the index of the Video Directory.

I noticed even in the demo link if you subscribe to it via RSS, the same result occurs, so it's not just my feed.

I'd post example links but for some reason the links are getting mangled here when attempting to post them!

Is there a file edit I can make to "fix" this behaviour?

What is the best way to uninstall this? Uninstalling the product leaves me with countless db errors and needing to use a db backup. Thank you

it will be nice to add justintv as well. If someone tell me how to do it I can get as many as you guys need hosters but I dunno how I get the code.

I can NOT get a IMG bbcode to work in the landing announcement, though all other bbcodes seem to work.
I'm trying to put a banner in there... and it just won't show up. :(

Admincp >> video directory >> General settings >> Landing Announcement


Its really weird. Works on a different forum I have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D seriously driving me nutz trying to figure it out :/

Im not willing to give our site a db error I dont have a clue to get rid of and ending up needing to revert to a db backup. What I do know is this-
