Can the Default User Group ID be more than 1?

Ie usergroup id - 2,5,6,7 etc

Quote:

Default User Group ID
Facebook users will be associated with this group. By default this is the Registered Users (id:2) group but it is strongly recommended to create a separate group for Facebook users.

sllik 01-06-2009 07:46 PM

no, its only 1 user group

Ok thanks, another Q for you...

I've done all the template edits etc but when I goto post a new thread the "Post to my Facebook" section does not show, what have I done wrong?

Do you need to put the First Login Feed Template ID,New Thread Feed Template ID,New Reply Feed Template ID into the main settings ?

yes, simply register default feed templates.

I tried it on IE and got this..

The Facebook Connect cross-domain receiver URL (http://sundeviltalk.com/xd_receiver....%220.090%22%7D) must have the application's callback url (http://www.sundeviltalk.com/) as a prefix. You can configure the callback url in the application's settings.

for FF, am I going to have to clear my cache every time I try and log in?

sllik: can you explain how the Data mapping works. It doesn't fill the data into the fields as far as I can tell so it causes issues in postbits BUT it shows fine when you view peoples profiles.

How does the profile pull the mapped data rather than the fields, especially as when i cant see any template edits that relate to the info in the post bits

clientscript/fbconnect.js

find:
Code:

replace with url to your button.

URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration
You need to change your server config. Search google on how to deal with this.

would you mind posting your button once you create it? I'd like to see how it looks and possibly use it. if not, I understand, just thought I'd ask.

Well, I installed it today and it worked no problem with my eFiction bridge and vBadvanced. Great job :)

Can my current members connect to there facebook accounts as well? I looked all over and can not find an option for this in the user panel.

Thanks again.

Edit - Never mind, I found how to do it. Now I need to figure out how to add the same functions from the thread posting area to eFiction.
