i cant seem to find it, what if i was to change criedts to points in VBCreidts

this mods has issues when u have VBfirewall installed

when click on Configure Global Settings u get a denied page vbfirewall catches it

so i had to disable vb firewall to adjust the settings

does it support in 3.8.1

can anyone show this demoed on their forum?

Unfortunately upon closer inspection I guess i dont see such a setting in vbexperience. You also cant set vbcredits to use a different field, so appears they cant work together. Keep in mind vBCredits is just a points system, many sister addons are on my site and not at vbulletin.org

you will get an email when it is replied to and the status changed. sorry for the delay, but i have a lot of messages to get through so it might take a little while for me to get to yours.

if you see that in the user editor in the admin control panel, then it is normal. the decimal settings will take of rounding it into prettier numbers. that happens to credits when there are percents involved.

currently this isnt possible, however with vbcommerce there is a paid subscriptions itemtype available that can do that, but pm me for more info. vbcommerce gold was released free on my site a few days ago :D

I try to delete some posts, but when click to delete, this database error show up.

what version of vbcredits are you using? Are you using the modified version that I gave over IM to include the old post/thread delete code? (i dont remember who i gave it to)

When I load page back (after error) some posts are deleted, then I just select others and deleted OK.

we are changing servers - our current host got mad at our traffic levels

I get Error 500 Internal Server Error whenever I try to use the Mass credit Updater - even when trying to update just 1 member. I have a great server with 60k members and 2 million posts. PHP memory limit has never been an issue before (set to 256M) - so im scratching my head here.

What does everyone use as a "shop" to use their credits for?

I've been wanting to add this mod, but wanted a solid option for where to spend the credits earned. Any suggestions?

Installation was a clean install, and flawless. All template edits were done manually which I've triple checked now. I've read 45 of these pages with no luck. I've signed up at vbcredits and for some reason I don't seem to be getting the activation email and theres no option to re-send it????

Make sure you use the right version of vbcredits for the right version of vbulletin, the license system on our site is the download for the vbulletin 3.8.x version of vbcredits, while the version in this thread is for 3.7, although there isn't much difference.

Make sure you follow the instructions for installing, carefully, and don't skip anything this includes all template edits. If your still having issues, please use vbcredits.com for support.

Yep, I made the 14 edits in the 10 templates, which I might add was easy. The FAQ page on vbcredits.com page for "vbcredits" is empty. I registered there almost 24 hours ago and still haven't received the activation email. There's no option to resend it either. I can sign in, FAQ page is still empty whether I'm signed in or not. The install was fine. That's if the install directions the author provided were correct.

I just want to know about the raffle & lottery that's supposed to be on this release. I don't need the shop really. I have a link on the usercp for "Donations & Drawings", when I click it I go to a "Donations" box and a "Richest Players" list. Wheres the raffle? The very few options even talking about drawings is in "vbcredits specialty options" but they only ask about people picking numbers, public winner display, show in postbit, and that's about it....


So,.. the question remains from previously, can anyone out there help me if they can????

from my admin cp page I'm seeing this at the bottom after a botched attempt to clean up my forum...could someone please give me some pointers on how to fix this error. Right now I'm not intrested in using the product.

Can you check your apache error logs to see what those actual errors were? If they were in the past, try to trigger a new error and then check your logs. Post here what it says (although sometimes they will tell you directly what is wrong, such as wrong file permissions)

vBCommerce was recently released free for all members of vbcredits.com, more information there

In vBCredits they are called Drawings, and you manage them from the link under the vbcredits menu in the admincp. You have to set some up, and make sure each usergroup has a nonzero limit for the amount of tickets they can purchase. Afterwards you will see drawings and the ability to buy tickets for them in the manage credits page in the usercp (the one with the donation form and the top richest members)

We had server move, so email system might not have been working at the time. It is up and fine now. PM me your username and I will resend your activation on the site.

They are set per usergroup in the usergroup settings. You can turn any of them off by putting 0 for the value.

vbulletin_credits.php is part of vbulletin, not vBCredits (in this case, credits refers to the list of people who made vbulletin, not earned currency points). Just put back that file from stock vbulletin zip and you should be fine.

Hi. I have a few questions about this plugin. Does it have the ability to:

1) Let users buy things from a shop. Items may include increased permissions like decrease the flood level limit, being able to view a specific forum, or increased PM box quota

2) Promote usergroup from buying in the shop or auto

3) Deduct points when double-posting or download an attachment

4) Give other users points

5) Disable the options that will be unnecessary on my forum such as a bank

1) See vbcredits.com - vBCustomizer will be available during april which does those things, and vBCommerce is available now free (which is an item shop)

2) There is a canspend permission which vBCommerce obeys, you can disable that or enable at will

Installed and working on vB 3.8.2.

The only issue I have is with the way it's displayed in the header (see attached). Does anyone know how to fix this? However, I can't see any alignment code in the headinclude template, which would allow me to fix this.

hmm, looks like maybe the mood hack doesnt close that code or something (cant assume html from an image :p)

that is part of the code you added to the navbar template so try modifying it (or the mood template code if that is obvious where it is)
