Pretty sure you goto your admincp, then to 'usergroups'. Then edit the admin one. You should see an option for primary and secondary usegroups. You can then select admin as 'secondary' using the check-box.

This is a CMPS XML Module. Load it as a module. Works only with CMPS 3.0 GOLD.

This stuff needs documentation in your setup instructions.
.DB does not come with vBExperience. Maybe you are using a picture viewer that is generating thumbnails, like Windows Explorer?

Jonnycrick,

The only mention of primary or secondary on that page [cp-usergroup-admin] is:

This option has choices of yes and no. That does not sound like one is making admin a secondary user group, or I just don't understand the wording here. Maybe someone can explain?

The warning message on Vbexperience cp page says:

Does that mean change the Administrators group to a secondary group or classification? And if so where in control panel is that handled? The user page seems to be a better place to do that than usergroup.

Edit your details via AdminCP/User, set primary to registered and seconday to Administrators. I have activated this on my boards.

The screenshot helps, but you still haven't answered my question.

You perform this action shown in the screenshot for the user that is the administrator? Otherwise known as Me?

I think the problem here is with the wording:

It should say change your [you: the owner of the forum] primary usergroup classification to registered user and your secondary usergroup classification to administrator. The way that you have phrased it, in English, makes it sound like you can change a usergroup to primary or secondary, which if I am not mistaken is impossible. It is the user class that is changed, not the usergroup class that is changed. Right?

Not sure if this has been answered yet or not.

I have a number of usergroups omitted from the point calculations (admins and moderators). When I recalculate the points they are correctly not included and I don't see them in the ranking table. They have however still managed to pick up 4 awards, is this correct? I wouldn't of thought they should be able to and don't want them to. I have regenerated the points and awards and the problem still persists.

Problem
by mistake I uploaded the older version of this product 3.7.11
over this version 3.7.12

and I got this problem
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getawards() in /home/public_html/forums/includes/functions.php(1044) : eval()'d code on line 6

I couldn't do anything to reverse it back
so I closed the hooks from config.php

can you help me please

and a little name mistake in img alternative txt in memberinfo block

in xperience_memberinfo_block template $block_data[points] is NULL and $block_data[xperience_points] is correct one

Hey Phalynx. I installed it and it works brilliantly. Very great mod. I want to know if there is a way to edit the awards and the way members are awarded. Is there any post in here addressing that? I've just been looking through but not sure what search terms to use, but since you're on I thought I may as well ask you.

Well, that went well. Followed the install instruction, got as far as step 2 - install the xml file - and got the following:

includes/class_xperience.php file is missing which is required
seems u aint upload files!
make sure that you uploaded php files in right directory structure

You know this thing about levels? The folder I've got only has the Level 2 but we're only a small board. Where's the level 1?

Xtra Levels XMLs are stored at extras\levels

The extras folders contains different icons for the awards and also some extra icons if you want to award Gold, Silver, Bronze. The files need to be uploaded to the same place you uploaded the other icons to.

Extras folder contains Screenshots, vBAdvanced Modules and Extra level XMLs which is not neccessary for vBExperience at all

Screenshots have not any features
vBAdvanced modules can be imported as a vBAdvanced block
levels are fully described at first post

Last night i importet plugin then 10minutes cron started calculating my users XPeriences while its aint completed till now! its ~15 hours which its CalculateXP()in my board points!
here is my mysqltop stats right now(high qps now value!):

Its killing my forum from last night!

My question is when this high cron is done for first time, will this take same time or same resources for next times??!

BTW again i've to appreciate your work, its really amazing, You are calculating all of possible points in forum

Such a complete recount is only needed after first install and if you changed settings e.g. more points for threads. The cron which is running every 10 minutes does a recount for people who did a fresh post. It just updates their points.

I've created a couple of new rewards based on posts and threads created. Problem is, even though I marked 0 for automatic calculation, the awards aren't being handed out. Is there something you have to do to the cron job or something?

Yes after the problem
I tried to import the latest one which is 3.7.12
but still nothing happened

And every time I tried to activate the Hook system
the FATEL ERROR comes back
