Thanks. I am registered, but I can't activate my account on Vbulletin-germany.org since I do not recieve any emails from them.
I would really appreciate it if someone could send me the file. If someone agrees to this, say yes in this thread, and I will send a PM with my email-adress. I really need this patch. |

I am a licensed owner, but you make a good point.
|
If he posted in the licensed members area over on .com would that solidify his ownership?

Remember that it is just at patch which requires the orig. addon.
|
I posted on the TMS thread in vB-Germany.org a request for Andreas to update or post fix here, just awaiting response.

Is it safe to use this plugin on a commercial website or will it keep breaking (and get fixed after a few weeks) everytime a new VB version is released?
|
It is safe to use, and it has not been known to break with every version. Just look at the version history - it covers all versions there ever were (not only vB4!). The vB3 version worked quite well with vB4, too - the only real issue was a bug in vB, not this addon.
It broke at this point because the mobil style was made a second master style. There has never been a second master style before, and it is quite natural and expectable that this addon will have to be adapted. |

When I click edit templates I get this page..
I am using the latest version of TMS. |
Bump, anyone got any idea on how to fix this?

Bah, I registered at vbulletin Germany and confirmed my account by email, and then received a confirmation email back from vb Germany as well.
I still can't download the file. By the looks of it I don't have the permissions yet, despite being a license owner and double-checking that I want to share accounts across both VB.org and VB Germany. If someone could send me the file... that would be greatly appreciated. You can see that I'm a licensed member by checking my posts. Thanks. |

Thank you kind sir. |
I am getting the following error:
Code:
Database error in vBulletin 4.1.11: |
I love it with non-custom templates but with custom made templates, its a bit of a pain. Otherwise, great system

Yeah, for some reason I had to reapply the files to make it work...
|
Actually I found out why this doesn't work.
The following plugin is not compatible with PHP 5.3. It only works with Php 5.2 and lower. |

works for me with PHP Version 5.3.10-1~dotdeb.1 |
i have a problem with 4.12 suite:
Quote:
updated tms with 4.10 with 2.1 beta4 and the error was the same. need urgent help please. |
I'm using it with 4.1.12 (just upgraded). It works fine.
Only problem is that it doesn't recognizes mobile styles (now (with vB4.1.12) skin can be standard or mobile), but if code is found inside mobile style, it gets replaced. Recognizing doesn't work in part where we can specify code changes per style. So we can work a bit blindly, but changes can be made and changes work even in mobile styles. |
it doesn't like using DFP code
Code:
<script type='text/javascript'> Code:
Errors occured while trying to compile the following templates. |
seems to not like the first line
Code:
var googletag = googletag || {}; |
That's not a TMS issue - you'd get the same error when putting that code directly into the template.
Try wrapping the code in <vb:literal></vb:literal>-Tags. The curly brackets are reserved characters, they're used in vB Template scripting. |
Language phrase: $vbphrase_[processing_mode]
Reads in German: Durchzuführende Änderung Should read as: (translated via Google): modification to be implemented |
Can anyone tell me why when I try and edit an existing template modification through the TMS system that I get this error:
A Template-Mopdification with varname 'body_wrapper1' does already exist. Please choose a different varname. Obviously the modification already exists, I'm trying to edit it. |
Just to be sure. Version 1.2.0 is not to be used on 3.8.x forums, correct?

From the first post:

Are there any posts about this being made compatible for 4.2 over on the German forums?
|
It is working on my 4.2pl2 site.

Going back over the thread, I made sure that gzip is only enabled once and I disabled output_buffering. Neither seemed to help. |
It's very likely that your problem is not TMS, but the template changes themselves. You do realize that 4.2 has a completely new Nav Manager? All/most old changes you did to the navbar (probably via TMS) are deprecated and bound to break things.
As a general rule: TMS does not break the front end style, but the style changes you do via TMS might very well. |
