we use photopost vbgallery v2.3 on vbcredits.com :D but haven't intergrated vbcredits yet with it .. vbgallery vs pro is much easier to intergrate .. devs at photopost converted all 5 of my own pro licences to vbgallery licenses which was nice of them :D

I have two things to say:

1) PixelFx and Darkwaltz4 are awesome, and the hard work on this hack and the rest in the series is awesome and much appreciated.

2) I have been quietly awaiting vBCredits 1.4, as well as vBCommerce to complete my forums, and have been reading vBCredits.com every so often to check the status. Anyone with an RP forum should be jumping up and down by now, waiting outside with signs and flags at midnight, lol.

Yes, seems to be working just fine. I have yet to test the actual function of the product. But I'm waiting to have my users do that as sort of a beta run.

do you mean the post award system? right now it is a coin icon, which you could replace. if there isnt a coin you probably never uploaded it :-p

you could also assign an image for the 'credits' phrase :-p (or an image and words, who knows! lol)

Oke, don't you think that is a bit too much? I don't know if you are experienced with Search Engine Optimization, but the more Links you have on every page, the less important Search Engines think your website is.

I do not think so you should add a link for now, as Links are only in my opinion awarded for Addons like Zoints SEO, or VBSeo who aflect every page and even the server as they use some special Apache Options. In my opinion you should if, use a text link, or make a new page where Info about your MOD is written with a link on there, like a FAQ item.

Sorry to say, but that is completly wrong, SEO is dependent on every small change on every Website, one Link more could at least get you one place lower for special keywords on every page, as Search Engines rank the importance of your Websites / of your Links by counting all the Links on your Website. Have a look at the Pagerank algorithm (I know PageRank is not very important for SEO). But as the rank decreases, it is a money-loss for many website owners. So that why it is not trivial, it is important.

Well, it seems like Backlink farming to me, you should offer a Link-free option with just text, like VBSEO does, then to come back to your point of fairness, it sounds "fair". I just wondered, you did SEO long before companies came along? What is the Point of Optimization then if there are no Search Engines? ;) And, do not trust Googles Guidelines completly, they do not give out much info.

Hendrizius: you havent even downloaded this, so why are you raising such a fuss? I have already established that this permeates your entire board and some aspect is always displayed due to it. As you dont agree with the terms, it is completely okay that you have decided against using vBCredits. If youd gone to vbcredits.com youd see an enormous amount of stuff available and in the works for vBCredits, not available here at vbulletin.org, and still completely free. This is the small price you pay for all of it.

the error is something that is using an hook within the vbcredits page. (credits_start)

check if anything uses that hook in the plugin page.

Yeah you are missing the icon. If you have style folders for custom styles be sure to add it to it. Look for it in the upload/images/buttons folder in the zip.

Another question: I just noticed that one of my skins has an odd white spot behind the credit info (see attachment). Can you tell me where to edit the style info to get rid of that?

the problem is you need to add the respective class to the creadits row being added to the postbit. however this behavir is changed to fix precisely this problem. the only real fix is to use 1.4 for the plugin code, which i would have to apply to your board.

vBcredits is nothing whithout vBcommerce... waiting for commerce...

It seems to only affect the one skin (though it is oddly the most popular =\ ) so unless I get major complaints I will wait out 1.4. If my users complain, though, expect a PM, lol. Thanks again, Darkwalz :)

what problems are you having? for starters you are using an old version of vbcredits so you are missing lots of new features. if you indicated you have installed you will get update messages.

This is one of the most potent mods for vBulletin ever released, Darkwaltz4 provides support on a level I haven't seen even with commercial companies and some of you are b*tching about two f**king links in the footer or measly 60 dollars for the brand-free version.
I am impatiently waiting for the release of vBCommerce and I am more than willing to pay/donate a nice sum to Darkwaltz4 and PixelFx if the combination does what I need.

Hi there, just wanted to say thats an excellent mod you got there.

Was also going to mention how NamePros did it. They are using uShop, but since unfortunately most of the shop mods aren't supported anymore, it would be an excellent addition if you were able to develop vBCommerce and keep going like you're doing with vBCredits.

NamePros is using uShop so people can purchase title changes, purchase a sticky for X days, changing of the username, buying ribbons and other things.

You have to register to see the page Retal mentioned (http://www.namepros.com/npexchange.php) where members can auction off their points and set rates to sell it for.
