You need to be a bit more explicit with your question.

711 11-18-2007 04:45 AM

Great mod as usual Paul, installed!

One suggestion:

I prefer to only allow admins to view the page tracking features, and allow registered users only to view the summary stats on FORUMHOME. However, even though registered users cannot see the page tracking stats pages (they get the default no_permission message), a link still shows for them in the What's Going On section on FORUMHOME. It would be great if those links only were presented to usergroups that actually have permissions to view the page tracking pages.

Paul M 11-18-2007 10:10 AM

That's already been mentioned :)

It may get added in the future, possibly when this gets ported to vb 3.7.

apiasto 11-18-2007 10:43 AM

sorry i meant when upgrading the hack do i have to do the whole procedure or just over write

Paul M 11-18-2007 12:05 PM

That depends on what version you are upgrading from.

hurik 11-18-2007 04:18 PM

here the german language file for the for the 1.22 version. it only translate the frontend phrases. all the things in the admincp is still in english.

v1.18 was a beta version, and at least four beta's were released (with different revision numbers).

The best option would probably be to uninstall v1.18 and install v1.22 from scratch.

I'm not aware of any Italian translations. You're free to provide on if you wish.

Is there no way for me to edit the templates to accomplish this?

I scoured the templates, and finally got dizzy trying to find out how the final html output code is built in this thing lol. I even examined your XML product file and cant see where the a href links come from.

I also have your Who Visited Today mod installed. One nice feature of that mod is the ability to only show the summary stats (e.g. how it looks when collapsed).

This would be a great addition to this mod, imho. I have the two mods one on top of the other, so it would very tidy if I could get both to display collapsed for users, while the admins can use the full functionailty.

Anyway, great work on your mods, always top notch.

Happy Turkey Day!

Nope, if there was, it would already be done.

Ahh ok. Looking forward to the next version then ;)

Also, any thoughts on including this feature that you use in Who Visited Today mod?

Cool mod. We really need something like this as the spiders visit often and wanted a way to track the information from within VBulletin instead of web log files.

Good job!

SSG.D 12-02-2007 03:08 AM

Installed: on 3.6.7 However the usergroup permissions did not seem to install Need some advise I really want this to work. ::)

Four new usergroup permissions are provided in the usergroup manager.

* Can View the Guests Visited Display - Members can view the guests visited display on Forumhome.
* Can View Guest IP Addresses - Members can see the ip addresses of visiting guests.
* Can View Guest Visits List - Members can view the list of guest visits page.
* Can View Guest Tracking Data - Members can view the individual guest visit tracking page.

Thanks to anyone that can help

mmmender 12-02-2007 07:34 AM

I tried to install this on 3.6.8 but during the product install the screen just freezes at "Rebuilding Spider Cache"

Any ideas?

Did you upload the bitfields file to the correct place, before you imported the product ?

Nope, no idea.

DePhauEll 12-02-2007 02:30 PM

Hello,
where do I import the German XML-file, which hurik postet here? I used to know that, but I'm getting old. :o

Paul M 12-02-2007 06:17 PM

The file only contains phrases - so I would assume you cut/paste them over the top of the english phrases in the main xml.

SSG.D 12-03-2007 01:01 PM

Thanks Paul !! got it, works great now!:)

Not really sure what you mean by this. Have you set the usergroup permissions for this modification (it has it's own).

DianaDiana 12-08-2007 10:41 PM

You need to enable it by going into

Admin CP>Vbulletin>Track Guest>

Also per

Admin CP>UserGroup>and edit each usergroup on it

dartho 12-19-2007 11:40 PM

I'd really like to see referrer information in this add-on also if possible?

Saviour 12-20-2007 01:55 PM

I have this installed...great mod!

What I'd like to see addressed, if it hasn't been already, is the fact that when you click on any number next to Visitors, bots, etc., etc., the page opens in the parent window with no navigation menu.

I didn't feel like searching through all the pages of this thread to see if it has been addressed, but definitely something that needs to be fixed in the next release...if any.
