Now marked as uninstalled as I have upgraded to vB 3.7 and have installed to 3.7 version of this instead.

Note to anyone upgrading to 3.7, you MUST upgrade the chatbox as the 3.6 version is totally incompatible with 3.7. Dream's done a new version in the 3.7 mods section.

I didn't specifiy a member group that is not allowed to shout. But guests are still not able to shout? What can I do?

I have installed this and it is working good, but I have a couple questions.

How do i set these items up?

Also is there a way to space out the messages a bit. Once people get posting message it starts to look a little bit like a cluttered mess and is hard to read. If I could just space the posts a cenameter or two it would be easier to read everyones messages.

Dream Thank you for the chatbox. IT RULES! took me a while to find the main forum folder(for people who dont know where it is its in public_html then double click admincp then paste the chatbox.php file)But in the end i found it. All my members love it!

Also, I only have one option in the AdminCP Chatbox menu: "Delete Messages". No other options.

Figured it out. Other options are accessed under vBulletin Options > Chatbox Options menu. :)

I have problems with the option Auto Parse URLs?
The option Allow BBCode? is also on.
When i put some link adres in the chatbox then the autom. Parse works fine.
But after 1 a 2 minutes you can not click on this link anymore.
The chatbox put also the tag [url] ..[ /url] before and after this link so you will see this [url]Http://some-name.nl[/ url] and the link are not clickable anymore ??
Can i do something that this will work fine ??

sorry it seems to be a problem with that option. I'm not developing this mod anymore, but it can be easily changed in chatbox.php.

Hey everyone, I'm getting the following problem:

I uploaded all the files, did the whole setup and the chatbox works like it says. However, the chatbox logs the user out. As admin, I don't have a problem on my computer, but many others are telling me that the chatbox logs off. I mean, they are still "logged in" on the forum, but the chatbox area dissapears saying they have been logged off even though they are still logged in. Is this a chatbox problem or something else?

Ok I got 1 issue here on my VBAdvanced. I just installed a vbadvanced to make it my homepage:

Notice that on the homepage, the "chatbox" button on the main menu is not working. It is working on the http://philippinebasketball.net/forum page though.

Maybe some script fixing?

The link is wrong. It just links you back to the "forum/#". It should say "/forum/chatbox.php" or something to the like.

But why is it working on the forum folder? http://www.philippinebasketball.net/forum and it's a java script pop up.

Having a problem too. Just rather different. When you try to post the site will begin to show the source of chatbox.php. Using vB 3.7 RC2.

do you use multiple domains? see if the chatbox isnt linking to a different domain
