I just installed this mod and after installing it when I try to add an mp3 to the playlist I get the following error message:
Fatal error: Unable to proceed with save while $errors array is not empty in class vb_datamanager_pm in /includes/class_dm.php on line 763 Sorry if this has been answered earlier. I tried to search for the error message and it came up empty. |

Re-import the product.xml again, then press Refresh on your browser. Go to Mp3 Player Management -> Settings and make sure you click Save. If you fail to click Save the PM system will not work and that error will appear. |
Thanks for the quick answer syrus you beat me to it before I could edit the post. I had just figured that one out but I do have another problem . When I add an mp3 I can see it to approve in Playlist 1 but when I go to approve it does not save the status as approved and it does not show up in the playlist.

Thanks a bunch Syrus. I love the mod and your quick responses makes this mod one of the best. I already nominated it for motm I wish I could vote more than once.
|
syrus I hate to be a pain but all of my members running IE get a 404 error. Those running firefox and opera run it just fine. I tried telling them all to convert to a superior browser but they didn't like that answer :P

New to this stuff but I am trying and am learning, I thought I followed the instructions to the letter, but it's not working, I see the vBmp3PLayer in my nav bar, the install I think went OK, had no error messages, that I saw, but when I click on the mp3 on the menu bar, I get this error message

Thanks |
Disregard my above post, I found the problem, I did not upload the contents of the upload folder correctly, I went through all the steps and found my error, I uploaded correctly and WOW, it loaded the player.
I am going to test the rest of it out soon, hope, I have no more issues, Thanks |
OK I click on the navbar and it opens up the mp3 player, but the window that opens up is too small and it cuts off, cannot resize either, so have to scroll across and down, and when I click on the add mp3's it opens up same window another tab, but that is not sized correctly. either
using vbulletin 3.6.5, firefox-latest version any ideas I am going to attach a screen cap, hopefully that helps. Cheers sorry the pic is small, hope you can make out what I am trying to say or show.... Edit: This might be a contraint of firefox possibly, I used a pc with IE and the window was fine and resizeable |
Can' approve the mp3's either, I have manually loaded them to my server, I went to control panel and added to play list1, and went to approve, but when I go back to look they are back to NO, as in no approval
ideas ? suggestions ? Thanks I did try the don't approve option, no difference, they wont stay approved. Edit: I think we have this one resolved as well, we have linked a few songs and we are able to approve, not sure what happened or why it's now working. |

Great Mod thanks for sharing!! One questiong - Does anyone know of any good direct link sites you can upload your mp3's too? I have a lot of members interested but our mixes are large/long and I really do not want to host them for obvious reasons...... Also do you still have the Commercial Version available? I went to the site but I could not see any relevant info on it, maybe I looked in the wrong place - I am interested in it. Thanks again. |

This helped with the Nav Bar in my Links and Home (CMPS) thanks for the info. I will do some more reading and see if I can find a solution for the following but if someone can help I would appreciate it. How can I make the Add MP3's open in another window when clicked on so it does not appear so small (same size as player)? I have already played with some options but it also affects the player. I like the size of the player and want to keep it the same, just want the ADD MP3 to open up in another full size window. Thanks in advance for you assistance. |
only way I found so far was to right click and open link in new tab, for FireFox, or open in new window for IE

Just installed on my second forum and all is perfect for 3.6.6!
You Da Man Syrus.XL! *Installed x 2 |
Due to numerous work undertaken I can no longer support this modification on here, and a few websites that are carrying it. If you still require support you can still get it freely from Digital Port UK.
There are updates planned, and further players over the coming months, however the timescale is very much variable upon my current work load. Regards. |
We love you, Syrus! Now don't go working yourself to death!! Take care!:)
|
For some strange reason new mp3s that I add are not showing on the player itself. They show up on the admin panel when you view the playlists but thats about it. Any ideas?
|
This is awesome, installed! Thanks much.
Any chance of finding a video player set up like this? |
flawless upgrade under vB3.6.5
even the ol' playlists from the previous Xeon 2.0 version stayed intact. tnx for this product Syrus. :) |
finally installed integrated version...
loving it!! :D great job!! |
Hi,
Just did an install... all seems to be working on my 3.6.7 bulletin board... However, only have one song uploaded at moment. It plays... Cool. At the end of the song I get a dialogue box error that says the following:- "A script in the movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly. If it continues to run your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?" If I say no... the computer acts as if it has hung... If I say yes... then the Explorer instance showing my Forums either shuts down - or it closes down the MP3 Player... Any thoughts? Brit |
I don't actually support this mod anymore on here...however, the reason that is happening is because you only have entered 1 track in a playlist. You must have more than one, so the playlist will work correctly.
|
sorry posted this in wrong thread:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...89#post1251589 its not really support and just a question about feature/capabilities. sorry to hear you aren't supporting it though.. .GREAT MOD!! :D :woot: |
I used to be able to use this mod but now all I get is ...

Well then I would say take a look at the hacks you have installed since then and make sure none of them conflicted with the mp3 player. Nothing is wrong with the mp3 player. There is no way it would just break itself. If you reverted the template or whatever it is something you did. Therefore I don't see how Syrus.xl could solve your problem. Nevertheless he is not offering support for this anymore here.
|
Well anyway I got it fixed and found out where the conflict was... Mike.
|
Well, I am still around vb.org - just not as much, as I used to be.
|
I just installed the mp3 player, but when I click the link from the navbar, the popup loads with "Warning!!! To view this Mp3 Player please enable JavaScript and Flash!" Any idea on how to get this fixed and make the player viewable?
