Does anyone have a nice CSS template to share? :)
I would like to see one, to get the basic idea, and then modify it as I like. |

I can not get this to work on my vB 3.6. I was told that this will not work with the latest version of the Photopost vBGallery due to some of the functions this is using. I have tried nearly everthing and can not get it to properly work. Please let me know.
|
It does work fine for the vbgallery. And this works fine with the 3.6, as you see many people have posted that.

Will this hack be converted to a single plugin/hack instead of having to install all the other ones?
I noticed the author's last post in this thread was in July which doesn't inspire confidence that this hack will be updated. |

True but its alot of work to install / uninstall if need be since most of the hack comes from other hacks. A single plugin that does everything (mabye even add vb image host hack) would be great. Is that even possible?

And everything into one.. Some people wouldn't want all that |

Why would it be a lifetime to add a few profile fields? |
i am getting this error:
Code:
Database error in vBulletin 3.5.4: if you can help me please pm me so i dont have to try and monitor this thread everyday. :( |

Well i guess if you can make the module and it would display it in usercp . Go for it |

I am really confused about the comments hack mentioned. It isn't listed as a required plugin, so I am not sure which hack is being referred to.
Is it this one? This is a version 3 'User rating' hack: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=61635 I can't find anything that uses a $comment_panel variable. Other people have asked the same question in this thread, and there doesn't seem to have been a definitive answer (other than a link to a deleted thread). Some help please! |

I noticed the comment hack wasn't listed as well. Before I install I'll need to figure out whats what also. |

I love what you have done but it looks WAY over my head!
I assume this is not a hack for a beginner. Heck... I don't even know how to make a "Test style". Would you attempt this? |

It takes a while for the first time, but its not that bad. |
How do I get HTML to work in things like about me, so it will work more like myspace.
http://warpedtoys.com/forum/member.p...lastposter&f=2 It's just showing the code, I am guessing there is an option that needs to be changed. Any idea what it might be so it will work more like myspace? |

I want html to parse too! Its not the same as bb code.. I'd like my users to be able to use all those html myspace tags and my users dont know how to convert them to bb code! I've been running around cleaning up their profiles!

Same here I want HTML as well not BBcode. |
i have to admit, i am lost on this hack...
my site, forum.fanhost.com is the current location of my forums. I am looking to launch this hack, specifically with the user comments feature, photos, etc. I have added the hacks above but am lost as to what templates to change and with what. Can anyone walk me through this in more detail? |

IF you hit me up on a instant messenger or PM i can give you more details... You copy paste his script and Replace it with your MEMBERINFO template. And you fix the profile fields so it matches it. |
I'm trying to do something with htaccess, dunno if anyone can help though.
My forum is at "website.com/forums/index.php" with vbadvanced in the website root. I want to get to my profiles by going to "website.com/username" (without the word forum) Here is my .htaccess. Code:
RewriteEngine on However ... because this is now outside the forum root, all the links, avatars images etc. are missing out the "forums/" part of the url and thus not working. Any idea how I can work around this? I know I can do mywebsite.com/forums/username, but that is not what i want. |
shazz,
my aol sn is fhnjeff please send me a note when you are on! I need help... although making progress as you can see from forums.fanhost.com/big poppa |
ok, i have included my code for the memberinfo template. Still need some help with what you see at http://forums.fanhost.com/big poppa (type just like that with the space). Some placement issues. Can you help me? Please post or PM.
Also, i had problems with getting multiple images for each member...what hack do i need? I am running 3.5.4 Thanks a ton everyone. Here is my memberinfo code. Code:
$stylevar[htmldoctype] |

i just realized that the url in my code was a cut and paste from the template... but have no idea what it is for... just wanted to make you aware in trying to help me...
|
The copy paste from that to your memberinfo template?
That means when someone clicks on your name from the forum it will take them up to that. |
eh?
I figured out the images and such. Can anyone help with with the group membership location?? Notice how i have the space under that and if you highlight it, you will see that my groups are in black matching the background but should be contained within the box. Also, how can i get the comments in? |

This looks really good. I've installed it on my test site but the comments don't show up and I can't find where to add them.
Can anyone help? |
