actually i am using a customized template, may be that's a problem

More than likely (and I have paid in blood for things like this) some hack or the custom skin has redone your nav bar and displaced the code hook they are telling you to look for. What you are going to have to do is print out a copy of the navbar template (select it all in a text window, right click, copy, and dump it to a text file), and then find the location you need to drop that code in..

If the person who wrote your custom skin is about, I'd ask them for an assist.

look in the header template and see if its there. this is just a guess.

uninstalled and installed ebux. the lack of support here has me worried. thanks for the hard work and good luck all trying to install this.

I'm stuck between steps 8 and 9... when I click to continue to step 9, I get a near blank page with only the words "Error in upgrade..."

u shop installed but when it comes to clicking on the categories ie italic username it just says how many times this has been sold i can t change any thing its all there but can t action any thing. says no history. are there any other files i need.

Anyone know what the interest rate is for the bank or how we change this amount? On the bank main page, it says something about a great interest rate, but doesn't list what it is.

Most likely this is not an erorr in code, just template. Will be looked into.

You guys should consider going to a full xml installation code. The installation issues are the only thing really holding this back. It will also allow you guys to start thinking of more additions for this and the bugs will become minor issues. Just please don't have updates every 3 days like eStore/eBux. That shit is annoying.

like a "pay per game"....costs a certain amount per game played...and also, every time a person was charged...that money went into a jackpot pot......which is won when a member then achieves the next high score for that game......when it would then go back to zero...and build up again per played game.

If we do that, then we will be unable to release template updates outside of regular version updates.
I don't trust the vB Install/Uninstall code any further than I can throw Boobiefool.
Personally I don't understand how anyone even HAS installation issues, due to the fact that the install works perfectly on localhost yet the files appear to be the same.

I like the installer. But it misses some small things. I like the structure of uShop alot better then eStore...It's very query easy. My database actually likes it. But I think you should look at what version these errors are coming up on.

I use to have 3.5.0 and tried to install this ushop, but something went wrong. So I upgraded my vb to 3.5.3 and uninstalled the ushop. Then I tried to installed ushop again, but in step 3 (creating tables) i get this message;

I got the same error after step 9 also, but the mod seems to be working fine. Thanks for all your hard work. One question though, is there interest on money in the bank? The last version had it, can't find it in this one.

it means that table is already there in your database. you need to drop that table.

You might want to look and see if you have any other ushop tables in your database. before you move on installing it again and remove those then install again

Alrighty then.. also, would it be possible to NOT remove the alt text that has been applied to specific usergroups in Usergroup Manager?

I am fairly certain the last version of Ushop did not override this.
