Is it possible to make Solve Media appear in newthread also? rather than just registration

You can require human verification on guest posts in the "Human Verification Options" settings. This will only apply to posts and new threads by unregistered users.

maybe it's because mod seems to be working just fine for everyone?

I have installed it on two boards both 4.2 and no issues so far.

You can use the Solve Media widget just like any other Human Verification Library on registration, new thread / post, advanced search, contact us, and recover lost password. You can select which of these actions trigger human verification in the "Human Verification Options" settings group. You can configure which usergroups (unregistered, moderators, administrators, etc.) are required to complete human verification by changing those usergroups' forum permissions.
