i've a problem with a user called 'Theodore Kaczynski' - any mentions for him end up going to a user called 'the'

I was getting the same error, where some users would see the notification but after clicking on it seeing nothing on their profile page. This was not a permissions issue, they had permission to access the posts where the mentions were.
So I downloaded and installed the updated product (and uploaded all the new files). When I enable the product, I get a hundred errors all over the page... even sometimes JUST a page of errors, site doesn't work. I have disabled this, but I really love the product. What happened with the updated file to cause all those errors? |
It is not working for me on 4.0.8 I used both [mention] and @username both didn't work the "mention" BBCode just puts the @ and @username does nothing at all. am i doing something wrong?

I don't have a vB 4.0.8 installation to test on at this point in time so it's hard to tell. I will test it on that version hopefully in not too long :)
