If you had a vB3.8.4 board and had the YAAS mod installed then upgraded to vB4 you will need to check your templates. you will need to uninstall the 3.8.4 version of this mod and may need to revert to the default vB4 templates and install the 4.0.0 RC1 version of this mod overwriting ALL files

I did this actually, all of the templates are new vb4.01 templates.

What I did NOT do is uninstall the mod as I didn't want to lose all of the assigned awards though.

My users are reporting some issues with the display of the awards in the postbit.

It seems as though the display of the awards is different depending on browser version. A user has uploaded screenshots of IE7, FF 3.5 and Chrome and the awards are all positioned differently. Some are out into the post text itself, to the left, right, etc.

As soon as I figure out how to get the screenshots out of the new system to show you.. I will. heh But if you test yourself for this, I think you'll see the same thing. Not sure if it matters, but I am using postbit style 1 for legacy postbit.

We will look into resolving this, sometimes it's as simple as getting the spacing right. Most of our testing is on the newest version of FF as it is the most used browser, and I know with IE and vBulletin there are some spacing issues, this is not a problem with the mod so to say but with div tags and how the browsers read them.

arg...my bad, I did not mean to say uninstall, I meant to say disable.

I've just installed this on my 4.0 forum, and imported the award tables from 3.8 over.

However the awards are now all assigned to the wrong users? I'm not sure why this is

Example:

Member distribution for a particular award on old 3.8 forum... Jordiesmum, RedTrinity, Boo, firefly, tad, Sandra, skyebaby_3, Sunny4eva, Bec

Distribution for the exact same award to members on new 4.0 forum, after importing tables... RedTrinity, LukesMummy, firefly, Ronansmum, mummy2boys, bnzsmum, lilmky, jennie1985, Unikwa

:confused::confused::confused:

Would appreciate some advice on how to fix this. I've still got our 3.8 database running, so I can re-back up tables if need be.

Cheers,

Nikki.

first make sure your running vB 4.0.1 and you should have disabled the mod for 3.8.4 and upgraded your vB 3.8.4 forum to 4.0.1 then installed the mod 4.0.0 RC1

I bought VB4.1 as a separate license to my 3.8 forum, as I plan to still make use of the older software as it currently is but for a different purpose (ie. have 2 forums running).

This is why I did not upgrade.

The version of this mod as its currently installed is the latest version (4.0.0-RC1)

I need that too.. I believe he's referring to the awards in the posbit_legacy

When some of my members have a little amount of awards such as 1 award, it's shifted to the left, I need it to be centered.

I asked this a couple pages back, with still no response to date.
