Hey, I've got an extra separator after clicking on Thanks. I saw another post about it, about 10 pages earlier, but it wasn't solved.

To bring up the post count you can go into your SQL DB and find "user" then you find the user you wish to edit and then you click edit (Pencil Image) and go to the bottom to where you can see "post_thanks_*****" then add in the value you wish click save.. you've now just changed the post count for that user.. BUT BE WARNED if you don't know what your doing I would recommend NOT going into the SQL DB one mistake and mess everything up on your site, but if you wish to go ahead make a backup.

post_thanks_user_amount post_thanks_thanked_posts post_thanks_thanked_times I don't see user names anywhere. How do I export those 3 fields and import them into my other database? I have already successfully added the post_thanks table but I'm still getting all zero's for the counts. Edit: Found each individual user. It would be too much work to change the counts manually. I want each person to retain their count and I want the threads to reflect who gave "thanks" as it did before I upgraded. |
Under "User" in PHPAdmin click on Browse and then select your username.. Then in there down at the bottom of the list you'll see all of those three..

I've just noticed a problem on my side. When I click thanks on a user it shows up as thanks: 1 for everyone.. then when I go into a thread that has a few people the thanks below the image doubles for every user..
So If i was 1: there would be one thanks, 2: post thee would be two thanks, 3: post there would be 3 thanks.. if it's not clear I'll attach a photo. |

Thanks for your help! However, I need to make it clear by steps: 1. uninstall the current product. 2. modify the script as your post. 3. install again. Right? I don't know how to "check if all the alterations made by the script are in you db. If not, you need to change the install accordingly.". Please show me the best way to do. Sorry becuase my bad English! Many thanks and Happy New Year! |
