Tried it at one place with the 4.2 version of vbulletin but it says that the css file is obsolete and available for reference purpose only. Does anyone know a different way to do this?

Just did this with my 4.2 verison and it worked great!!

Admin Cp > Styles & Templates > Edit Template > CSS Templates > Postbit.CSS

Put in the code as stated. Like I said, it worked great!

In our Syle Manager there is no option named "CSS Templates" :-(

- - solved it - -

The initial instructions in this thread are not correct. One should choose the Edit Templat option first.

It's kind of obvious you have to go to Edit Templates first.

CSS Templates.

Well, obviously it is not for some people :p

I have done these changes but do not see the desired effect ? Should I clean the cache, does it only work with new posts, or . . . ? What could be wrong ?

Anyone have a screenshot of the difference?

4.2 users can just add the code to additional css right?

Got it, so all other posts without signatures still stay the same? That would be neat if it cleaned up everything
