You need to upload each of the items into correct folders corresponding with your forums folders.

Double click the "Upload" folder you will see items to upload directly onto the forumhome directory and then you will see things like, "Admincp" inside it. If you open that file you will find items to upload into your "AdminCP" rather than onto your forumhome...

Ok, so what I'm hearing you say is this: Open up the AdminCP folder and take the contents and move them into MY AdminCP folder. Not the entire AdminCP to AdminCP. Transfer the files not the folders. SO I should not have an admincp subfolder under my admincp folder.

Assuming all of this is correct, I'm going to have to go back and change another hack. I thought that just dropping the entire folder would override the existing folder. If all of this is true, I have learned a great lesson here for future mods (I hope). Please advise.

Hey Geekman,

I hope you and your family are doing well.

Please consider to add functionality for avatar and profiles.

OK so I assumed that everything I wrote in the previous post was correct. I deleted the subfolders and put the files into the corresponding folders. It seems to have worked.

Question. Should the AME CP appear on my admincp as another link? I was able to access it through vbulletin settings, AME settings, and then there's a few clickable links to get to it. Is there an easier way to get to the AME CP?

Arrggh, I've made progress, but something is still off. When I go to post a new thread, I get this error message.

Quote:

Warning: require_once([path]/includes/ame_bbcode.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/newthread.php(308) : eval()'d code on line 1

Yes, exactly.

Mods don't carry a full content of an AdminCP folder, you don't want to overwrite the folder either.

Just open each then move contents into the folder matching it on your server.

I did and something good happened. lolCan you answer my other questions above, because this is still not functional.

first of all it it prompted you to moe the floder and replace the other one with out replacing NON same name files then you may have been alright but if the option choosen or by default overwrites the folder and all contents then you best hope you had a recent back up.

What other questions. I don't want to search the thread.

I did notice that you said you uninstalled it. Once you upload the items into their correct folders you would install the product and you should have access to the AME CP in your Admin CP.

THANK YOU!!! :):):):) I finally got it working on my forum. This is so cool.

You are the first person that ever made me understand where to upload files while doing these mods. Thanks again.
