Assuming all of this is correct, I'm going to have to go back and change another hack. I thought that just dropping the entire folder would override the existing folder. If all of this is true, I have learned a great lesson here for future mods (I hope). Please advise. |
Hey Geekman,
I hope you and your family are doing well. Please consider to add functionality for avatar and profiles. |
OK so I assumed that everything I wrote in the previous post was correct. I deleted the subfolders and put the files into the corresponding folders. It seems to have worked.
Question. Should the AME CP appear on my admincp as another link? I was able to access it through vbulletin settings, AME settings, and then there's a few clickable links to get to it. Is there an easier way to get to the AME CP? |
Arrggh, I've made progress, but something is still off. When I go to post a new thread, I get this error message.

Mods don't carry a full content of an AdminCP folder, you don't want to overwrite the folder either. Just open each then move contents into the folder matching it on your server. |

first of all it it prompted you to moe the floder and replace the other one with out replacing NON same name files then you may have been alright but if the option choosen or by default overwrites the folder and all contents then you best hope you had a recent back up.

I did notice that you said you uninstalled it. Once you upload the items into their correct folders you would install the product and you should have access to the AME CP in your Admin CP. |
