I think as it's not supported and >

maybe someone else will have to bring it out for 3.8.x
I installed it but it didn't change anything on my Quick Reply box.

It works for me with 3.84.

New Joe 09-08-2009 01:07 PM

How did you do that?
When I try to import I get >

The following dependencies were not met:

1. This product is not compatible with version 3.8.2 of vBulletin. (Compatible starting with 3.7.0 / Incompatible with 3.7.4 and greater)

djbaxter 09-08-2009 01:15 PM

Unzip the downloaded file and find this file: product-phpkd_aqr.xml

Open this file in a plain text editor. Look for:

Code:

        <dependencies>
                <dependency dependencytype="vbulletin" minversion="3.7.0" maxversion="3.7.99" />
        </dependencies>

Change 3.7.99 to 3.8.99.

Once it's installed, enable it and set the other options in Admin CP | vBulletin Options | Advanced Quick Reply Settings .

It also needs to be enabled for each forum:

Admin CP | Forums and Moderators | Forum Manager -> Edit Forum - scroll down to Can use 'Advanced Quick Reply' and set it to yes.

It also needs to be enabled for each usergroup.

If you have the product installed and the Quick Reply enhancements aren't showing up, re-check these steps.

That got it installed but it didn't work, my Quick reply box had was missing the box around it and none of the things were showing.
Maybe another hack I have installed made it so it wouldn't work.

See additional instructions in https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=193

Hi there :)

I'm sure that along with many other fans of this modification, I was wondering if you would be updating this plugin for the new version 4 of vBulletin? It would be great to have such a nice mod continue. thanks sir :O
