Found something cool.
Ok, my pre-emptive disclaimer. I'm a complete dumbass when it comes to all of this. Last night I spent about 5 hours trying to figure out how to upload a file to my server. Needless to say, I spend another 2 hours, uploading each individual image for each folder. Don't ask.... Apparently I need to learn the hard way or marry a computer guy. Well I downloaded the Blueberry style and after screwing it up royally, I discovered that it looks really good with the alt1 ad 2 in the normal vb color. white and whatever color blue it is. Anyway, until I figure out how to do all of this, I"m part Morbid and part default. LOL But I'll have to say the combo looks great. LOL I think I can do it if I just figure out the damn path to everything. What goes where. How to extract and all that stuff. I can't wait to see my Morbid all loaded perfectly. I'll keep trying....:o HELPPP!!!! LOL P.S. I love the clean style of this series.. I wish more designers would go for this. I also like the clear delineation between New Post and Old Post status icons. On many designs it's difficult to tell the difference or butt ugly. LOL In other words, if it's blue, there are post, if it's white, no post.. Perfect and straight forward. |
Uhmm i think the installation process is rather simple.. you need to upload one folder in forum root and then just import the XML.. and u are done. I think what u did what merged the Style into exisiting style which is why you are seeing a cross breed of Morbid n VB.

Thank you Attitude.
I'm sure it is. I just have alot to learn on the server end. I don't even know what my forum root is. I just clicked on the public html thingy and saw the other skins previous people have placed online for me and tried to learn the paths from there. Do you do custom work? Seriously, IMO, Morbid is one of the best skins online. |
I am really liking the Morbid BlueBerry style thanks and great job

Hello,
First off great set of templates, I use the Morbid Blueberry... simple awesome. Question: I wanted to adjust the column width for the front page, which template do I do that in... on the vbulletin forums it said to do it in the FORUMHOME template, however, the code isnt there. I changed the column widths on the step into the forums, but not on the main index page. Any thoughts? |
A bit more specific please? Which columns do you want to adjust.. is the whole forum width or just some cell in main forumhome.

Hi, Atitude5ire
I wanted to adjust -specifically- the "last post" column on the forumhome (index.php) page. It seems to be very large for some reason. Im using the non-fixed width version. When i click into the forum i was able to change the column width of "last post" by going into the "forumhome_fourmbit_level1_nopost" template. but I dont know where to edit the main page one. |
This may sound dumb, but I was using Photoshop to edit the header image so I could get my own... But I cannot for the life of me get the colors to match... This is the SECOND time I cannot get a styles header to match... Can you tell me how you save it and what settings you use (as I have check in PS, the colors are the same before I save them)?
