No but you can't use someone else's logo to distribute with your own product. This is a style with the graphic style from messenger, you use it with your own logo, so people recognize that they are on your board and not on msn board or something. The only reason I put a msn style logo on it, is for show, it wasn't meant to be used on a production board ;)

Never mind Google Talk will be the new messenger soon enough, and as long as you have a google search box by the logo they wont give 2... well you know. Seeing as they allready give you the google logo with there search box anyway :D

They just need to run that year or so out with the ex ms employees, so they can start incorporating an improved technology they gave msn.

Why dont u create another template for all of us? Same style but a little darker.. Just create a new template with the category strip etc being a little darker..

Replacing the msn logo with a file with the exact same name and file extention should do it. If not working try this: delete the old logo completely and upload your logo with a different filename. After that go to vbulletin admin cp > manage styles > Stylevars > Title Image. Change the filename there with the file you uploaded. Be sure it's the exact same location. After that push F5 on forumhome.

just tried to install the style on 3.5.1. "The version from the file (3.5.0) does not match with installed version (3.5.1) :(

Yep you can install this template here is how u can do it..

Styles & Templates -> Download / Upload Styles -> Choose the files under "Import Style XML File" then select Yes for Ignore style version and import!

Well it works for all vB versions now, and some style elements/colors are more like the messenger.

It doesn't do anything to your hacks or tempates, it's just a css style :)

Of course i recommend a backup anyway.

Sure,

In admincp go to: "Style Manager", next to the MSN style, choose "Main CSS" from the menu

Now, in the body block you see "Hover Links CSS"

Use Font Color: #FF4400 or whatever color you like. :)
