Yes you will need to put the <br> in to put text on a new line.

The problem with the quotes should all be fixed now in the new files.

updated the product with the fdixed file, and its working great...
now all we need to do is get it to seperate the lines instead of putting a break into it, and itll be the dogs wobblies...

Hi all

Another update for you all

I have the html check so you cannot add html into a joke now.
You can use bbcode smiles if you wish to do so.

This is not a upgrade install all you have to do it reupload the files and all will be fine.

Yep all sorted no html and it will put the <br> in auto so no need to worry now.
You can also use the bbcode smilles in this too.

This has been updated with the help from eXtremeTim as he knows alot more than me lol

There will be a new version coming out soon.
This new version will let you upload a image and place the image where you want.
You will also be able to rate each joke and i might put in a coment in so you can leave a coment to a joke.

Also the layout of all the jokes and the categorys will also be better.
Me and extremtim will be working on this to make it alot better.

small bug noticed...

wqhile it now inserts the breaks in lines, when its putting quote mmarks in, this happens..

Has anybody fixed this error ass of yet?
I love the hack idea. Couple issues tho...

1. Just can't enable it until you figure out the above error.

2. Would also like to disable the approve needed for each joke. This could take up a lot of time.

3. Would like to get rid of the "no Image" area. Don't really see a need.

4. Any idea when we can get the phase error fixed?

The reason its putting in the quotes if you look its where if someone is saying some thing that why the quote is there.

to change the approve to approved look for this

this will disable the approving of the jokes.

The images is if you find a funny picture you can put the image in but if there is no image it has to show some thing or you get a red cross in a bux coz there is no image.
I could redo the joke one so there is no images for it and release it with this one.
As for the phrases im working on the fix for that now and iv also added a rank system for the jokes but have not released that yet.

With the new updated 1.01 it won't list the jokes...
Says I have 1 joke, but dosn't list it..

BTW, followed the install.txt and it deleted all my old jokes.. WTF..

and my server is running ALOT slower......

and I guess the quotations still haven't been fixed yet?

I think I'll have to de-activate this one until ALL the bugs are fixed....

How many jokes did you have in your vbjokes before you tryed the upgrade.
I have tested the script and it did not delete my jokes as all the upgrade does is add to more table to your vbjokes table for the rating of the jokes.
As to the quotes i have not fixed that yet but im getting there.
All the hacks i do are only done by me so i have alot of work on at this time.
Im working on a new league system vbcheats and helping on some other peoples hacks.
So please bear with me im getting there.

Having a problem importing it, all the files except product-vbjokes.xml were uploaded to the server, when i try to import here is the error i get:

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.0:
Invalid SQL:
ALTER TABLE vbjokes_jokes ADD rating float(10,2) default '0.00' NOT NULL;

any help would be appreciated. thanks

When you do the inport od the product you need to do this
where is says

Allow Overwrite
If you wish to upgrade a product, you must set this to yes.

click yes

Only click the yes box if its a upgrade if its a new install you dont click it

I had over 500.. I did everything as discribed in the install and it seems to have erased them all... :(
The worst part of it all is I added most of them myself. Lot of work shot to crap.. O well, I'll survive.

Just have to wait on the quotation fix and the on/off image area.

Why is it that my jokes are being seperated by a bar instead if a line?

Also when the approval is changed to 1 instead of 0, why is it that when u add a joke the user still gets this message? "Your joke has beed added to the database and is waiting to be approved! "

edit the template jokes_view_jokesinthiscat

and change the hole content to this

My members are already asking me to turn it back on.
With these two issues fixed, all I'm missing is the quotation mark fix and I'll be off and running with this one.
