I know I sound like an old fart saying this, but it is very true: whatever you do don't mess up your education. It may seem like a good idea to skip class and party with your friends, etc., but it's not like you get a second chance at high school. Also- you can slack off in class and most teachers will push you along because they don't want to deal with you again next year, but you didn't really learn what you needed to know. Ultimately the teachers don't care because it's not their education that you are messing up. Your education is a valuable thing, and you should take full advantage of it, and what your school has to offer. At school, just like in life, you have a lot of acquaintances, but only a few real friends. Don't get caught up in the cliques (easy to say) or trying to be popular and instead concentrate on school, and your few close friends.

Heh, not that bad if you're not into the social scene. :p. Just hate high school right now cause its screwing me over acadmeically...>.<. I had a suck math teacher this year. Taught geometery. He was retired from proctor and gamble for 20 years and decided he wanted to teach high school. He was alternatively certified (No student teaching.) and his first day in igh school was my irst day as well. He wasdn't very good and I learned nothing. Thia year I'm going into Algebra II and my teacher will expect me and my class that had this guy to know stuff we don't.


Our technology program is lacking as well. The web design teacher didn't know that normal static webpages were done in HTML.

My friend has a kid who is in High School and he got sent home from school last year because he got in to an argument with his history teacher who had never heard of Kent State, and when the kid tried to tell her about what happened she told him he was a liar because nothing like that ever happened in the USA :ermm::eek::speechless::confused:

hahahaha. My th grade teacher got mad at me once cause she as informing the class that Bill Gates was the richest man on the planet. I politely raised my hand and said

"Mrs. Baker, they announced on the news today that this guy over in the middle east found on this gold and oil and is now richer than bill gates." And I was right. I don't know if this guy still is the richest. But anyways she got mad. Kept me after class and yelled out me. Scared me so much I didn't tll my parents or anything. She made me cry and stuff. Told me I had no friends and no one liked me.

Staring college next week :D SO SCARED AND NERVOUS AND EXCITED. Have no clue what I'm doing or anything of that sort... But at least I get to laugh at all you high schoolers. Heh heh. ^_^

HIGH SCHOOL IS THE WORST THING IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!

- Hallways were packed, i was getting stepped on and girsl liked to push their luck and push me (the guys i would push back so they wouldn't :-D)
- I hardly had time to eat because the lines were so long
- The girls are either really pretty and taken or free and hideous
- The girls try wwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaayyyyy to hard
- I HAVE TO READ 5 BOOKS ALREADY AND I HAD 2 PAGES (FRONT AND BACK) OF MATH HOMEWORK.
- My 1st period teacher THINKS she's funny.
- THE SCHOOL DOES NOT HAVE SPORTS
- I have to bring my math textbook to class everyday

AND I CAN CONTINUE! but i choose not to before i get even more frustrated.

It can't get any worse... so lets hope it gets better.

Just you wait until you have to pay for classes and books, and stand in line for hours to register classes just to find out they are full when it's your turn.

Just wait until play time is over (school is easy) , but then I am sort of an inventor so I have it a bit easier now , but I do miss the school days.

Then again , when I was told school is the fun time of life, I thought it was a lie ;)
