Thanks for this, I've got it installed and working on the gold release. It would be great if this worked with multi-quote, if multiquote has one problem it’s that it can be hard to locate in a long thread where a quote came from.

Hmm, should work fine on Gold but i'll test it.

Can you check the HTML source, eg. the href attribute of the link?

Very nice hack indeed, hope this becomes a standard feature someday.

@Blindchild02
Are you sure you have Version 1.0.1 installed? |
im sure its whatever version was posted yesterday :p
|
Then I got no clue how this could still happen.
Feel free to send me a PM with an ACP login and i'll take a look at it. Otherwise I am unable to help you, sorry. |
Hi KirbyDE, really nice addon!
Does this work together with your multiquote plugin? |
Cool! thanks for this mod.
BTW everything works fine but the image doesn't show, instead I see "view original" link. |

(Well ... it does, but not automatically) |
reinstalled for 3.5.0
working great...thanks! ^^ |
ooh, i just noticed this... great work Andreas! :D

This hack may get error with Unicode characters.
For example, I try to Quote of Username contains character á then this character will return in safe string is: á, notice for the semi-colon (;), so this hack will misunderstand that every character after that will be the postid, and it will parse this quote title and get in error (both link and the username are incorrect). Can you show me how to using orther character instead of semi-colon (;) or any fixed update ? Thanks for your hack |

Nice plugin. I just installed it on my forums.

I'd love to install this, if it would work (automatically :) ) with Multiquote.... would be nice if it worked alongside Collapsible Quotes too. |
Looks as if this hack will be obsolete as soon as vB 3.6 goes out on public release: it contains the feature built in, as can been seen and tested on vbulletin.com, which has it running at present in pre-beta release.
Inclusion as core in a version of vB is the ultimate sign of a good hack: so useful that it's brought into the main system -- so kudos for providing us with it. |
Plus the fact that the author of this hack is now a Dev doesn't hurt. ;)
|
I wonder if the 3.6 version will work right with the /me code? This version doesn't play nice with it at all.
|
Just a note: This hack is not needed in 3.6 since its already built in.
|
I'ts not working for me. I uploaded the image, made the template edit and imported the product. It does not show up. Any reasons why?
|
Hi,
is there a version for vB 4? I use 4.2.1 and need such a mod. Best Regards |
