installed 3.5 RC (I'm a crazy man like that :p) and everything seems to be working EXCEPT one thing...

the QUIZ IMAGE doesn't show up in the forums (I get an "X" where the image should be).

The file exists in the server images/quiz folder, the url is correct AND it shows up in the quiz ACP, just not in the actual live forums.

:ermm:

Any ideas or suggestions what might be wrong?

I'm having the same problem, but haven't had time to look at the code yet. If I fix it for myself, I'll pass on the knowledge.

I did notice one thing though:

the link to the image in the quiz AdminCP is correct.

I had the same problem too, sorta. My images worked in the admin cp, but not in quiz.php

I just opened quiz.php, searched for every instance of:

PHP Code:
$vboptions[bburl]}/images 
And replaced it with:

PHP Code:
$vboptions[bburl]}/forums/images 
It seemed to do the trick.

(I also checked my vBulletin Options to make sure the path was set correctly, and it was, so I don't know why it didn't work.)

Anyhow, that code modification fixed it.

You also might want to change the Multi to Radio in the xmls as I can choose more than 1 answer for each question now. ;)

And who is Al Mineo? Isn't that supposed to be Sal Mineo (in the bad guys)? ;)

Sounds like you have a bad quiz xml. ;)

Import another one and see if that works ok.

Oh, I like your descriptions. They are really good. They just get cut off at the last few words. Keep them the way they are but at 255, if you can. Good work and thank you. ;)

Hi... I have installed quizz..but am geting the following error when i try to open the page via the link in the forum...and in admin cp.. :

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: quiz_engine in /home/illusion/public_html/forums/admincp/admin_quiz.php on line 32 :ermm:

what can i do to make the right changes?

I am wondering whether i got the above error..because i didnt do the following as per instructions :

Next, CHMOD the following files/folders to '0777':
includes/
includes/settings.quiz.php
images/
images/quiz/

What is meant by CHMOD? and 0777 ? can someone please help there... I did not really understand what was being said..

You obviously used an FTP to upload the files .. right click on the folders / files listed by the install which need chmod 777 and select properties, you should see a numeric value .. you need to change that value to 777

Thanks TTG... I have made the changes...but I am still recieving errors..its not loading up when going onto the link... I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: quiz_engine in /home/illusion/public_html/forums/quiz.php on line 114

And from Admincp when i try to bring up the menu i get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: quiz_engine in /home/illusion/public_html/forums/admincp/admin_quiz.php on line 32

Anyone have idea what the problem is?

You sure you uploaded all the files into the right areas .. call is not finding the files !?
