It is not working for me. I couldn't see it anywhere.

Paul M 11-15-2005 08:51 AM

Do you use a custom style ?

(The homepage link in your profile links to a broken forum ...)

You have read this bit I take it ?

10. The ability to allow only certain usergroups to view the list is an ACP option (vBulletin Options > Forums Home Page Options).
Guests are not in the default view list.

I put 0 in both

Who Posted - Groups allowed to View

Who Visited - Groups allowed to View

and enable both

Who Visited - Enable

Who Posted - Enable

Paul M 11-15-2005 03:53 PM

Can't help you further without an admin login, I can't think of any reason they would not show.

I'm having the same issue, but regardless of what I do to uninstall and reinstall the order won't change.

I have even tried uninstalling both and reinstalling the opposite way round, but the who's posted still shows above the who's visited.

Paul M 02-10-2006 07:36 PM

Well like it says, atm vb does not provide any ability to change the order that plugins run, it's basically random (as in the order mysql supplies the records from the database). There is nothing I can do about that.

No problem Paul...I'll live with it. It does illustrate a disadvantage with the fancy plug in system...lovely as it is for installing hacks, there's no substitute for being able to play around in the template. :)

Great hacks though Paul.....fantastically written and work perfectly!

Tralala 02-19-2006 04:30 PM

Cool hack, thanks!

/Clicks INSTALL

Two issues:
- I notice this only works if I also have "Display Logged in Users?" set to YES. That is, if the "Currently Active Users" grid isn't set to show, then neither does this, regardless of it's settings. Would like for them to be independent of each other.

- I have a 3rd party skin, and while this hack works fine, the white box doesn't extend all the way to the right. Is there a way for me to edit a template so it displays properly? I can upload a screenshot if it will help.

Thanks for the cool hack!

Paul M 02-19-2006 07:50 PM

It's designed to be displayed with the currently active users display and cannot be easily seperated. A screenshot won't really help, I/people would need access the page to view the html. I'm not much of an html expert so I may or may not know the answer.

CongTuDepTrai 02-25-2006 05:43 PM

can you add the number of post the made today? because your mod only display the members who post, not the number of post they made

Paul M 02-25-2006 06:25 PM

Nope, sorry, that's not going to be added.

Will it work in the Future with vBulletin 3.6 ?

Paul M 06-10-2006 06:05 PM

I have no idea if it will work on 3.6 as I haven't even seen 3.6 code yet. If it does it does, if it doesn't then a 3.6 version will eventually be available.

Please note that this applies to most of my 3.5 releases. :)

Lottis 06-28-2006 05:53 AM

I have this hack in 3.6.0 beta and it works.
Only bugger is, that i have to run a count in the user titel the get it to include
admin and moderators to the list of who has posted.

Paul M 06-28-2006 07:53 AM

I don't really understand what you mean by that.

Lottis 06-30-2006 07:38 AM

Sorry, Paul M. I am terribel to explain in english.
I will try again.
This mod, works. But it wont count in admins and supermoderator.
So i have to update counters every day, to make it registered that admin and mods have been posting.

Paul M 06-30-2006 04:10 PM

There is a setting to control who can view the list - but there is nothing to exclude anyone from the count.

jplg 07-19-2006 09:24 PM

Most users ever online was...
does it belong to this hack? cause on my site it hasnt been updated since 06-30-2006
where is it a wrong setting in the Admin cpanel?

I'm using 3.6 rc1 and it only shows registered members, it will not show mods, super mods, admin. Not sure about the custom user groups yet though. So there may not be something to exclude anyone, but it will need to be updated for 3.6, probably after it goes gold, but sooner would be nice. ;)

If I do a "Update User Titles and Ranks" in the update counters section under maintenance it will then add me to the list of posters.

SnickersTK 07-22-2006 10:51 AM

I need help with something unrelated.

Can anyone re-write this to something working?

Paul M 07-22-2006 12:37 PM

If you have a modification request then please start a new thread in the requests forum, not post in this support thread. Thanks.

I looked into this today - it is a bug in 3.6 itself - the lastpost field is not being updated for mods/admins. Logged in the bug tracker.

Cool, thanks for checking into it. :)

To install this hack, follow the install instructions in the zip file.
I downloaded and unzipped the file but there is no install instructions included as stated above. All that was there was the xml file. Am I missing something?
