Hi

Is there a way to make this work also with members that are part of another group, for example i have normal registered members and some are part of the gfx team (additional group) is there a way to show the icon for those registered members that are part of the gfx team?

okay here i want to know if anybody would know.....i have this hack installed but what i want know is how can i make this hack example : the moderator (it shows moderator) administrator...administrator..... etc etc does aNyone knows how i can do that?

hey please help i have installed this into my forum vb version 3.0.7

and it adds a new title but no icon for staff members and it messed up all nonstaff jus regular members theres has crazy text next to it

Well, I use it to define staff while using ranks to define activity levels. Your point is a good one, but there are some of us that basically would like to have 2 definitions. A little eye candy for users and it's easier for me to tell when to promote someone to staff.

Oh I see. That activity level you're talking about, is that a hack or a feature in vB because I've never heard about it.

um, why not make them using the files he's provided?

He's been kind enough to provide the font and the photoshop file as well with layers.

how do I denote a user as staff? I've created a user group entitled "alt" and assigned users to it, but the icon doesn't show.

You'll have to add the group's ID to the part of the showthread.php file that checks whether to display that group's id or not.

If you've added this hack, open your showthread.php file and
FIND:

        $staffusergroupids = array('5', '6', '7'); // your array of staff usergroupid
        if (in_array($post['usergroupid'], $staffusergroupids))

        } 
On the line which specifies $staffusergroupids, add your "alt" group's id in the same format as shown.
