nice hack! ;) but one idea: why you made extra menu line? why you not put it all in "Edit Signature" area? it`ll be handy there more! ;) Spetially with copy\paste code ;)
Good Luck! |

Having a slight problem. I installed without any probs, and i have rechecked my code several times and all is as indicated in your instructions. I myself currently have a sig installed prior to this hack. I do not get the new modify sig screen as shown in your included pics. If i upload a new sig, it thanks me for updating but nothing new displays and the old sig is still in place. However, if i create new admin accounts or use test accounts i have created using the registered user group i can upload no prob and the new modify screens display appropriately. It is almost as if you already have a signature it is blocking this hack from working properly. Is this possible?

I just took a random inactive user and tried to upload an image, it worked. I then logged in in one of my Mod's account and tried to upload, and it didnt work! It just refreshed the page. |

Hmmmmmm.....I used to know how to do this, but now I forget.........
Is there a simple way to add a new $post[whatever] tag, for example, placing something like $post[usersig] in the postbit, so it would automatically change their sig for them once they uploaded a new one? If I remember correctly, something like this can be done with the custom profile fields. Anyways, I haven't taken the time to mess around with this yet.......so I was j/w. |

dont want to be a bum but any updates on this? :)
|
Not yet, I just installed it on my main board to see how it reacts with the users. I've been getting alot of people saying that some users can't upload and i wan't to know why.
|
I have having the same issues as others I have tried this hack both on and offline and I cant get it to accept the sig, I get a blank space everytime.
But for new users the get the option, its doesnt replace my sig, and on the first go round it actually showed my avartar, I took the avartar option off, and now I get nothing. Help! We are basically saying that this hack doesnt work on existing members and only for new members, so is this a working hack? I am sorry I dont think it is until you release fixes, if you require showing of my issues please pm me and I will let you use an existing account! |

I installed the hack and it seems to be working fine for me the group of members who are testing it for me, so that's good! But this one thing is bugging me and I just don't know enough to know how to fix it... |

$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] to get the full request URI including the userid Then in .htaccess you make the no-extention file sigs be a php file: <Files sigs> ForceType application/x-httpd-php </Files> |
