This would be an amazing hack if it were included in the page where you check the ip a user has made a specific post from.

Can anyone explain to me what exactly this hack does?

When a new user registers on your board, you (as the Admin) receives an email notifying you of this. It contains certain basis information about this new user (Username, email address, etc...).

What this hack does is makes it so that you also get IP Address information included in that Admin Notification email. :)

Is it possible to get vB to lookup the IP before sending out the mail and display both the IP, ALT IP and hostname?

It's easier than having to lookup the IP myself. :)

Now how can I add this to the email sent to the user (activation email). When I added the code to that phrase it just shows up black in the email.
