What about users commenting on jokes?

well i will try to add that sorry forgot about it hehe

right just a little update i am currently 95% done on v2.0 and the lattest additions are as follows

I have successfully added a pagenav which you will be able to change the way it displays stuff by setting the options in the Admin CP like how many jokes per page and how many pages in joke nav.

also i have sussfully got my categories working correctly so alls right and i have added a on off if statement so if there is a new joke it will light up and if theres not it will not.

I have also added a last joke info bit which will display the last joke additions time/date/username/go to last joke button.

i have also redone the install script it will install all tables and it will add all templates so i would suggest you use it to remove all old templates and replace with the new ones. and do a fresh install so things run smoothly. I have been making this one a test board with default php files and no changes to colour/templates etc so its like a fresh install.

you can also view single jokes which is where i will intergrate the " comment a joke " feature suggested by bitg.

it will also have at the bottom of every category

There are currently XX Jokes in this category and it will show on the main with the total of all categories.

plus much more which i will show by screenshots when its fully bug free and working.

not fully done yet d00d just finished the new install script which will let you uninstall/install new/upgrade and it will add all tables and settings and it will add all templates for you aswell

but i would suggest when i release it a uninstall then a full nmew install to fix all bugs :D

Now i have sorted the jokeadmin.php file out with lots of advancements

• I have made it so you can change the display order of the categories like you can with the forumlist.
  
  I have made it so the title links to the category on the forums.
  
  I have made it so you can view all jokes in the selected category.
  
  I have made it so you can edit, add and remove jokes from the admin cp.
  
  I have made it so you can choose to allowrating in the categories and if you don't allow them they will not show.

Joke Factory Updates:

• I have made it so you can sort the jokes like you can in the threadlist for example: you can now sort them by joke id, title, username, replies, views and lastjoke.
  
  I have sorted the pagenav out so you can change pages after the total amount of jokes perpage has been met.
  
  I have also added the pagenav to the replies which is on the same principles as the jokes list.

plenty more to come...

there will be more updates to this when i get more done but the thing i am woundering is can i start a new thread for version 2.0 full release.

Then delete this thread or release the VB2 version please, bugs and all. I'm sure someone will complete it for you!

Dont take that as any sort of criticism please, this sounds like an excellent hack! Its just sort of lame to post and post about a hack and then say 'nope not releasing it now, wait for the VB3 version!'

Would be happy to have it for vb 2.3.2...even with bugs :D

This hack will be updated in good time for know i am doing the vB Add Forum hack when thats done i will try to do this hack but i am skipping straight to v3.0 for the vB3.0.0 of vBulletin. please be patient thank you.. ;)
