Any ideas yet on why I get blank pages in the admins panel for vWar?

Also the test forum one that we were working on about the permissions error...Telling you that you do not have permissions to perform that action.

Your test site is fine you said....I don't know what could be causing it on your other site...

Why are you commenting out lines? I asked for experienced testers so the easy fix would have been to remove the second switchColors function....

I was commenting out the field_name function because after doing searching throughout all of your code and the internet I was having a hard time figuring out why it wasn't working.

I havn't been home all day and have been building a new machine and my main workstation is offline so I was posting the error I received after trying to resolve the field_name issue.

There is no need to imply that I'm not experienced because I havn't had a chance to spend any time on the hack today.

You missed a step in the readme.txt file to add the field_name function to db_mysql.php. Please re-read the instructions.

Right the test site was doing fine... So if i zipped up the files and sent them to you do you think you can compare them to yours and see what the major differnce is?

Soon. I had a wedding in my backyard this weekend and haven't worked on the hack for about a week but will start again today.

Still working on it...and adding the following new features:

I will be away next week on vacation (wife surprised me for our anniversary) and will continue it as soon as I get back.

have nice holiday and hopefully we will get to see this soon.... this is the one Hack i have been waiting for.

Just a question but how are you implementing this for multi-clans?

I mean are you creating it to use multible templates so each clan has its own design or its own vWar admin panel???

The Multi-Clan edition will share the same database, admincp etc so any member can belong to more than one clan. I will create a seperate Clan Leader Panel based off of the moderatorcp so each Clan Leader will have access to their own clan. I really don't want to go all out nuts right now since I really want this to go public...this is alot of work to add the mutli clan capability. Right now you can add a division to a specific clan, also anyone that wants to join a clan has to register first with the forum then they can fill out the "Join Us" form and select a clan then the respective Clan Leader will receive an email with the details. The "Challenge Us" form will also allow any opponent to pick a clan they want to play/scrim or whatever against and again the Clan Leader will receive an email with the details. I will add more options after I get this public which will be when I get back from my vacation.

It's own templates? No...too much work but you can do it with styles.

I can't wait for it to be released... Specially the multiple clans support! :D

Do you want it with a member only belonging to one clan or more than one? I'm at a critical junction right now and need the input!

I'm trying to get another version out before I go...

Personally i would like it if they belonged to only the one clan - the members that is - but I am sure that others might want the multi-clan.
I think it would get too complicated to have multi clans on my forums but if its for a ladder system - which Vwar say they aren't looking into but someone is designing a hack for it - then the multiclan would help

Ok...when I get back from vacation (Saturday) I will release this as a public beta!
