As some people from here may know already, the hacks are done. Question of when I will release them, its all clouded, I have yet to make installer and instructions. It seems to be running very nice, just having gif problems, trust me when I say, you will notice when its out.

Sounds good, I run several car spefic forums, and creating image galleries and then combining them with vbulletin user data is a pain in my asshole.

I'd rather have something that ties into vb like this.

I just want users to be able to upload pictures of their ride to their own gallery and not another users.

I was thinking to add this has as a standard features, many people seem to want it. I will release it after vB Links Dir 3.0

what are the requirements can u tell us we need to make this run?

are we gunna need ImageMagic or anything installed on server, cuz i dont have it installed on any of mine.

very true....we only have Oakgallery to work with right now...and its causing some problems with people trying to install it...It is very nice but I think this one had greater appeal.

Things you may want to consider before asking for a release date...first off these hacks are very involved in both time and code. Arunan always likes to get things out in a reasonable amount of time but avoid any bugs ...

As part of a Gallery management solution for images I need:

1) Moderated process of review of images uploaded from users
2) Image "Standardization" to a standard color set and size (thumbnail as well)
3) Add custom watermark to each image by "merging" watermark with image
4) Customize title, description, four classificaitons,
5) Auto include timestamp, submitter info, rating, Parental Rating,
6) Limit Gallery viewing to member status (registered, guest, support)

Please let me know when / how to implement this set of features. I would be grateful.

This is a very old thread and I doubt that Arunan is around enough to have carried this project on :)

I've seen a few sites that have a "Powered by vbimage" notice that are actually using our PhotoPost code. PhotoPost is $99 and has most if not all of the features that have already been requested here, but I hope this hack is not based on our code.

Clearly the "Powered by vbimage" application is a nullified version of PhotoPost 4.0.1. Fortunately, sites using this illegal copy are pretty easy to find.

If this is true, could you kindly remove the urstuff.com from your signature since I purchased the domain on 12-13-2003, you do not have permission to use the domain in your signature.

Hopefully true, vbImage is a nice addition.

Owning a domain is one thing - owning the "words" is another. Besides, the only person seeing that domain is YOU - the domain owner. lol

I asked him to remove the domain from his signature because the statement in his signature suggested he owned it. Because of that you emailed me threatening me with legal action even though I have no connection to vbImage other then the fact that the person that published vbImage used to own urstuff.com and I now do.


You know what the rest said, even straight down to you demanding money from me. I answered you explaining the situation of me purchasing the domains amongst other things from Arunan.

Now if I ask someone not advertise the urstuff.com website in their signature for the above reasons I am very so legally entitled to do so. Arunan did as I asked anyways, so I don't see what concern of it is yours.
