Is there a way that when you have the URL checking turned on that if you try to add a new bookmark and it finds the URL is no good, that it can give you the option of saving it or not, instead of automatically saving a bad bookmark? The message that tells you the URL is bad comes up kind of quick. I didn't catch it the first time. :)

Lol. I knew that would have happened hahaha. OK one more prob. I have vbpad installed and when you look at my user cp nav bar i get this. I dont no why. Can you please help me out. There are a lot of book mark templates so if you could please tell me what to do that would be so great. Thanks so much.

Here is a pic of what it look like on my board. Thanks again.

EDIT: I forgot to say that when you go straight to the user cp it looks fine. IT only does it when you go to any of the book mark places. Thanks.

Open bookmarks.php and search for:

Code:

$cpnav[7]="{ secondaltcolor}";

and add after

Code:

$cpnav[8]="{ secondaltcolor}";

all without blank: { secondaltcolor}

Nice job bad_madman

But one suggestion, it would be nice when i can see in the memberlist the users who have public bokkmarks, with a little image or other things.

I hope you can implement this in the hack.

OK, i tried to tranlate all the templates to German language!
I think 98 % is translated. Feel free to use it and/or improve it :)

For Bookmarks i used Favoriten, because i like that word more than Lesezeichen :)

I hope you can help me with one thing: My site has a border around the forum (width= 730) similar to www.vbulletintemplates.com
Some of the templates doesn't fit!
Can someone help me out?

An arrow which up or to below points stands actually there. You probably don't have the necessary font - sorry :cry: You change this in the following Templates: mybookmarks_browsecp, mybookmarks_browsemp. Search for &and ; and &or ; and replace with e.g. 'asc' or 'ascending' and 'desc' or 'descending'...

NOTE: '&and ;' and '&or ;' without blanks

I wanted to have a look at the html source code on your forum. However, don't go. I need the source code to check this. Please, do you send the html source code to me (PM) or let me use the Bookmarks in your forum ;)

You find this either direct in the installation script (http://host/forum/admin/sqltodos5.php?s=&action=permission) or change admin/usergroup.php (http://host/forum/admin/sqltodos5.php?s=&action=permissionfile). Then you can change the permissions in the vB admin CP (User Groups).

When you go to RaTE BOOKMARK and you click the link to the TITLE of the book mark it doesnt take you to the actual site. It brings you to a blank page with the URL about:blank

How can this be fixed?

I would send you the source of the page but for some reason I can't get it... Whenever theirs a JavaScript error it wont let me view the source of that page, I'm using IE6. Oh, and it only occurs when I use the link in the usercp.

It all installed great for me, but the Bookmarks section doesn't show up in the UserCP for me or any other member, and not in the profile either. Dunno what you need to look at. I can GET to the bookmarks page fine, but no links show anywhere on my board (as I said, in profiles and whatnot) to get there. :( help :( *sniff*

I made a little change.
I add the bookmarks into the "Who is online" window:

Open online.php and find:

after that add:

Little fix:
- fix blank page after jump in 'vote bookmark popup' (see )

Downlaod zip archive again and upload bookmarks.php into your forums directory. Replace the old file. That's all...

Ok You still have an error. This is the prob. You fixed it but you left something out. I get this as the URL when i press the URL in the RATE screen. /messageboard/&action=jump&bmid=1

THERE IS NO BOOKMARK.PHP before the &action=jump&bmid=1

I hope you no what i mean haha. Please fix thanks.

@Birdie501: Thanx for the translation, but during the installation I found few problems. ;)
Why did you add as backgroundcolor always the code #1960ca ??
I replaced it now with categorybackcolor.
The search template was a little bit more edited. The Table was smaller as before. In this Version, it has now thesame width as before.

But I will say thank you again, to edit these templates!!

:) well the translation was for my site, then i decided to make it public and forgot to change that!

Yes i also changed the width of some tables but without success! My page has a width of 736 pix. Some of the template does not fit into that size. But even if i try to change the table width it doesn't work. Can somebody help me out?

Either the change is missing in the template 'usercp' or you haven't given any permissions (http://host/forum/admin/sqltodos5.php?s=&action=permission).

i have the same 2 Probs:

1. Users can´t share her bookmarks, there is no ´browse public bookmark´ option in userprofile,

2. i don´t find here the fix-bookmark.php

You can find the link 'browse public bookmarks' in member profile - e.g. here ;)

Fixed bookmarks.php (07-19-2002) in zip archiv. Download again...
