I had this free version in 2 VB 3.5's and loved it. They are gone now and I have the 5.1.3.. and not really liking this version. BUT would like to purchase the arcade this time for the 5.1.3.
Is it available? I didn't see it on your site.

We have had no reports of problems with vB 5.1.4, though it hasn't been tested on that version yet.

I just installed this on vb 5.1.5.

when i click the arcade tab in the navbar.... it just loads a blank page

also if i click the "begin" button to browse games from "mochi" i get this error:

There was a problem reading the games feed

i did import one game manually (asteroids) but does not seem to affect the loading of the page (still blank if i try to link to the game directly)

any ideas?

Mochi has been shut down, and there's no point in trying to import from iPArcade if this has not been installed on your forum :)

Did not tried mochi games ... i imported few ibproarcade games and import was ok ..but every click on arcade in nav bar - results blank page and generate database error (same like was posed above) ..also there are a lot errors in admin panel .... for now i uninstalled arcade..hope that should be fixed to work with vb 5.1.5

Is there a way to import games that were installed to vb4 to the vb5 installation? I lost my games drive a couple of years ago and only have what is installed to my vb4 board I'd love to pull into vb5.

I too get a blank white page when I click on the arcade tab.

Is this maybe because I have no games installed yet?

I'm also having trouble browsing games...

Same thing as people already posted. Click arcade get blank page. Go to import game that the tar file was uploaded to the import folder, click begin and nothing happens except get taking back to "forums" page" that shows this - Invalid Page URL. If this is an error and the page should exist, please contact the system administrator and tell them how you got this message.

Then get database error in email:

Looking in the database I see dbtech_vbarcade_category but nothing to do with game_cats Is there any info to create the missing games_cats table?

Uploaded the latest version from dbtech - installed.

Still cant see anything except forum home page when clicking on the "Arcade" link in the navigation bar.

When I am in admincp - dbtect vbarcade - configurations - all 3 settings when clicked takes me to a highlighted forum tab page that shows this:

Now have tried to upload a game - have tar file (for example game_towerblasterv32.tar) and uploaded it via ftp to .com/testvb/core/packages/dbtechvbarcade/import

Would be nice to see this working on vb 5.2.1 stable release as this is what is holding me back from updating a couple of vb4 sites to vb5.

You should not try to import games from ibpArcade unless you have this mod's tables still active in your database.

I am not trying to import from ibparcade at all and am trying to get this to work on a test vb setup, new install of vb5 and arcade, database is new so no old vbarcade database settings.

I have a couple of discs of saved games saved over several years, most are ibproarcade games.

If your live site is not running vB5 I would strongly recommend sticking with vB4, as it is very stable and not prone to these kind of issues.

ACP issues look like they are now working, was able to add a couple of categorys and bulk import some games.

Still have issue of seeing blank page when you click on Arcade. If you edit the page you see everything there - 9 modules, but when page saved its just a blank page.

I can go in and play a game by entering: http://xxxxxxx.xxx/forum/vbarcade/pl...BilliardsCombo and game plays but doesn't save score.

When on the admincp page - Manage Games - and you click play you get a funky url:

And still getting the database error of "Table 'pokerlau_testvb.games_cats' doesn't exist"

Been playing with this a bit today and now do not have a blank arcade page anymore. When you edit the arcade page at first all the modules are in a group and nothing shows. I started to move them around, removed them and added them back and now they show.

Still cant get games to score. When a game is finished and score submitted a page shows for a few seconds that says "A systems error occurred" "the software has experienced a systems error" .

Are you sure the game supports local scoring? Pretty much all of the game sites that once were supported for remote scoring have since shuttered so their scoring systems will no longer function.

I am not using games from remote sites that do remote scoring. All are uploaded to our site.

The same games I use on 4 sites that have vBArcades (vb4) and have no problems saving scores are the ones I am trying on the vb5 vBArcade version.

Curious about something - when installing a vb4 version of vBArcade there was a bunch of stuff added to the htaccess file where you either added it manually or cmodded to 777. Was this changed for vb5 vBArcade?

All games are stored on your site regardless, but some games such as Mochi ones are scored by submitting to a remote server.

As far as I can tell, this should no longer be needed.

While I have noticed some errors in the product that have been resolved locally, I can't replicate the DB error posted before.

Could you please provide a screen recording of this issue in action?

I have vb 5.2.2 and fresh install the arcade installed and I even imported some games but if you click play on the game just take you to the forums home page. I have to type or copy part of the url from the admincp to play the game and the score are not working. anyway you can check this out and see why its not working right. ill pm you all the info you need.

been awhile with no response.Vb 5.2.3 is out and installed and that didn't help the arcade so for now we have setup the vb4 version on another site until someone can fix this one

Sorry, I've not had a chance to look into anything related to this for a while. I would recommend that any site wanting to use custom modifications install vBulletin 4 instead, as it is much more customisation friendly compared to vB5 at this time.

That being said, I do intend to look into these issues, I just need the time :)
