I love the ability to pick what user groups can or can not collapse the sticky. Can you also add what forum the collapse/un-collapse are allowed in?

I can see about adding that in a future update.

joeychgo 05-23-2013 05:52 PM

How to remove the extra "title/thread starter" menu bar?

ozzy47 05-23-2013 08:13 PM

There is no way to do it short of editing the template.

The ability to select which forums you allow the collapsing of the stickies as well as the ability to remove the extra "title/thread starter" menu bar, have been added in v1.4.0

Taurus1 05-25-2013 05:24 AM

I have lost the ability to collapse the sticky or normal threads with the new update. The settings are still there in the ACP, but it makes no difference what I choose. Don't get the collapse button.

Thanks.

ozzy47 05-25-2013 10:16 AM

You even set your usergroup to be able to collapse the stickies and selected which forums the collapse button should be in?

Note if you choose the parent forum, it will not show in the subforums, you have to select those as well if you want them to be able to collapse the stickies.

LLent 05-25-2013 02:02 PM

ozzy i just put in 1.3.0 what is new in 1.4.0

Nirjonadda is correct, you should have received a update email from vb.org about the changes.

My apologies. I did not select the forums. I thought because it is right below the "No Header Or Sticky / Normal Text" it is for that setting. It only says "Forums". So maybe for morons like me please add a descriptions after the "Forums" part.

Sorry! And thank you!

ozzy47 05-25-2013 03:41 PM

Not a problem, in the next update I will see about changing the wording a bit.

ozzy47 05-27-2013 01:33 PM

Fixed the wording in v1.5.0

ozzy47 05-27-2013 01:51 PM

v1.5.0 is now available! Which the following is added / fixed.

Additions:
  • Added a option to enable different colors for the Sticky Prefix and/or for the Sticky Threads Title.
  • Added a option to choose what part of the sticky to change the color, Neither Part, Sticky Prefix Only, Sticky Title Only, or Sticky Prefixes And Titles.
  • Added a option to select which forums the Change Sticky Threads / Prefix Color applies to.
  • Added two stylevars to accommodate the above additions.
Fixed:
  • A unclosed <div> that may possibly show up.

Is that the full error? Also where are you seeing this show up?

I have this error also when i try to install it.
The error appears on top of the page.

ozzy47 05-31-2013 09:17 AM

Is that the full error? If it happened during install, did the product install, and is running, or did it fail to install. Did the error only show up at the top of the page, when you installed, and no where else?

It only shows on top of the page but it is working.

ozzy47 05-31-2013 10:59 PM

No offence, but speak for yourself. This mod is much better, I'm switching to it as we speak.

Thanks, please don't forget to mark as installed if you are using it. Also don't forget, the mod is up for Mod Of the Month, voting ends in a few hours, so if you want to vote for this, or any other mod, now is the time to do it. :)

You would set the setting, Remove Title / Thread Starter Replies / Views Last Post By to Yes.

thenashy 06-01-2013 09:01 AM

Yeah, derp moment.

What about this on a couple of different forums:

Code:

Fatal error: Call to a member function register() on a non-object in /home/broncos/public_html/ozzy47/ozzy_separate_sticky_threads/hooks/forumdisplay_complete.php on line 25

ozzy47 06-01-2013 09:11 AM

Ahhh someone finally posted the full error. Could you PM me a link to a forum where this error is showing up. Then I can check it out and report back when there is a fix

V1.5.1 is now available which should fix a issue some of you are experiencing, with a strange error on some pages. To fix, re download the zip, upload the files to your server, and re import the XML

Thanks to thenashy for allowing me access to his site as a admin so I could sort the issue.

henrique araujo 06-01-2013 08:52 PM

thanks friend, now work.

ozzy47 06-01-2013 08:59 PM

Excellent, glad to hear. :)

thenashy 06-01-2013 09:08 PM

Confirmed working on my forum too. Thanks very much for the quick response and fix!

thenashy 06-01-2013 09:13 PM

Last question.

How do I change the style properties for this added bar. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

That uses the stylevar, blocksubhead_background, but changing that will also change you look on the forums.

thenashy 06-01-2013 10:18 PM

Can you point me to the code to change that so I can play a different CSS value into additional?

ozzy47 06-01-2013 10:26 PM

In the templates, ozzy_separate_stickies_normal, ozzy_separate_stickies_stickies and ozzy_separate_stickies_stickies_nocoll you can look for this:

HTML Code:

<div class="threadlisthead table" style="background:{vb:stylevar blocksubhead_background}; color: {vb:stylevar blocksubhead_color};">
You can change, background:{vb:stylevar blocksubhead_background}; to something like, background:red;

Changing red to suit your needs. That will change the background.

To change the text color, change, color: {vb:stylevar blocksubhead_color}; to something like, color:red;

Changing red to suit your needs.

thenashy 06-02-2013 12:22 AM

Brilliant. Thanks!

ozzy47 06-02-2013 12:23 AM

Not a problem, glad to help. :)

Judith2 06-03-2013 11:48 PM

I have a request, I would like to put a shadow color for the sticky and the normal header.

Would it be possible?

ozzy47 06-05-2013 08:44 AM

It is something I can look into for a future version.

Judith2 06-05-2013 11:17 PM

Thanks a lot
