The reason why there's issues with page breaks and such is because it's the only way to work around issues with usernames with special characters and other similar issues.

It says vB Version: 5.0.x

x means any any number from 1 to 9 so it will work fine

Looks like it is auto linking now but I am not receiving any sort of notifications.

I'm new to vb.org... I've been trying to set up my vb forum for months and have not gotten anywhere with installing your mods. Please help! i've tried to follow instruction but its just not working for me at all. I need someone to go in and install mods for me, is that possible?

I have a problem in VB 5.0.5 , when I am installing the product, at version 3.0.6a1 it get stuck.

There it continuous loading for some time and then it just stops.

If you have a very large node table, that is most likely the reason.

I also get a similar error. How can we resolve it? I am unable to uninstall it or revert the changes. It doesn't show up in the installed products list.

The spec says VB Version 5.0.x so one would assume it doesn't.

Obviously you read this, then chose to ignore it, and ask the question anyway.

You could always install it, see if it works, then let the rest of us know.

You could also try to install VB4 versions of MODS and see if they work, chances are like this one ... they wont.

It would be best to ask this question over at the Dragonbyte site. You should receive a faster response to this type of question. :)

Can confirm that it doesn't work on my install of 5.1.1a9. I get the same error I do with all the DB mods on 5.1.1:

OK, seems to be something to do with this hook: dbtech_usertag_footer. If I disable that, I can load my site up ok. Tagging seems to work, just not getting any notifications. Probably a config issue on my part.

Hash tags are a Pro-only feature :)

There have been reports of it working on vB 5.1, I've done basic testing on vB 5.1.0 and only found one minor bug that will be resolved in an update on Monday :)

No, I don't mean clicking on an existing hashtag to search for posts with that hashtag, I mean searching an hashtag itself without having to click on one. Where is that setting on Pro?

Is it necessary that messages about quoting and mentioning are added also to "Sent" items? Or is there an option to disable this?

Also isn't it a better idea to send user a notification instead of message?

When replying to a thread and @ is entered is it possible to have a list come up with all the usernames of the people who have replied to that thread, and have the list get smaller and smaller as the user types in the unsername, to help prevent type-o's, once they see the person on the list they are trying to tag they can simply click on it to insert it.

Unfortunately that is not possible at this time, sorry :(

I tried the plugin in vBulletin 5.1.4 Beta 2 and the following error occurs:

You can not access any forum page, since all pages returned the following message on a blank page:

Critical Error

We are currently experiencing Technical Difficulties. Please check back in 24 hours.

However, if you are logged into the forum everything works fine, but when you log out or want to see any forum pages without login, this error message appears.

Is this mod dead? VB5 seems to have "matured" a fair bit and I was thinking on upgrading from 4.2.5.
Not a big confidence boost to see the last post for the mod was in 2015.
