Yes the forum is running now, but no link on the forum are working...when you click on any link or tab its shows DB error

Anything further than that I don't know what to do, I tried going to language.php?do=rebuild&goto=language.php? but that of course is a db error

Anyway Thanks...that you were able to make the site to load.
But the form keep getting Database error when any link is click.

I will contact VB if there is anywah they could replace the files with their default setting.

What is the database error you get now? the one from language.php?

Can you load the tools.php file in you vBulletin download do_not_upload folder to your admincp folder, I can try something else possibly

There were about 15 more phrase groups to add... then I did have to finish the upgrade that was previously started- that seems to have rebuilt the laguage... All phrases appear to be working now.

BACKUP YOUR DATABASE BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE.

I just did my backup now

Do we know which product caused such behavior? Which product did you uninstall just before this error presented itself?

The product that cause the error are Vbquiz and VbNotification they are the two last product that i uninstalled.

They just broke my board but my forum is working well now.

But Ozzy and BirdOprey5 are wonderful guys, they stayed up to 3-2 hours to help me resolve the issue.

Very big thanks to them.

TLS- The problem may be from those mods but the issue is there is no uninstall code in either mod that *should* cause this. If there was no doubt dozens, maybe hundreds of people would have complained by now. Something very rare and unusual happened and I can't figure it out either.

It also means there is no actual proof the uninstall was the specific cause.

However it is simply a lesson to everyone who you should always keep regular backups because you never know when something like this may happen.

Felixkomo got lucky that both Ozzy and I were around yesterday morning and happened to click on his threads. Most people will never be that lucky. Had he had a backup from the night before (some hosts offer hourly backups) he would have been back online in minutes without needing anyone's assistance.

Sure there is no prof that the modes was actually the cause, but i just assume so.
But i was so lucky to have these to Samaritan work it out for me without a penny.

I would restore the site from a backup you did before you uninstalled the mod.

It is much easier to use the backup, last time you had this issue, it took over 2 hrs to resolve, a backup will take just a few minutes. This is something though I can not help with though.

It will take hours to add fields 1 by 1 waiting for you to say what the next database error is.

I suggest you start doing them yourself, 1 by 1, it is not difficult.

Each time you get a new error you just replace the phrasegroup_XXXX from the error into the ALTER statement:

If it doesn't work maybe i will just install fresh Vbulletin and start from scratch.
Vbulletin staff are not helping to resolve the issue at all. They rather keep asking question and nothing has been done.
