You can check out the experience at any of our partner sites. Go here: Porsche marketplacehttp://www.planet-9.com/classifieds.php Click on any item. Click the "Buy Now!" button. You will see that we take the user to a secure page that is not hosted on your domain but references your domain. |

Looks like you have a great product. Credit card use online is dropping while paypal/google is rising and have secure payment (On Page) transactions. i would buy your product if users didn't have to leave my the website they were purchasing on. Best of luck |

For the sake of clarity, we have the same 'on page' experience as PayPal or Google. If you don't have a SSL cert, you can't offer 'on page' check out. In the same way you might offer a PayPal powered 'check out' button and that button takes you to a new secure page, we too offer a 'check out' button that takes you to a new cobranded page. Google, PayPal, and we HAVE to do that in order to encrypt the payment information. If you have an SSL cert - that is another story. |

Today we are excited to release a massive update to the Enthusify marketplace plugin for vBulletin. Below find a list of 35 new features and fixes. A major thanks goes out to the thousands of buyers and sellers who use the tools and give us a steady flow of feedback. Thanks also to the many forum owners who tell us how we can help them improve service, grow revenue, increase engagement, and eliminate disputes.
Want to take the plugin for a test drive? Download it here and email info@enthusify.com for an activation code. *) Significantly updated the listing creation process. Added a ?Step 4? which is exclusively about how payment is collected and transferred. Sellers can choose between collecting payment via Enthusify or on their own. Sellers can now edit their PayPal email address. Sellers can optionally provide us with feedback if they don?t use Enthusify to process payment. Coming soon: Sellers will be able to opt into immediate payment transfer if they use Enthusify. *) Sellers can use the ?enter? key in the descriptions to start a new line. *) Added a toggle to ?My Active/Sold Listings? for moderators to switch between all the items for sale, and just their own. *) If a thread is generated for a new listing, the ?Listing is Live? email also links to the thread. *) If an admin visits the ?Who?s Online? page, the location column will say ?Enthusify Plugin? for users that are in the marketplace. *) Made more updates to the listing creation process. (Improved the workflow / clarity) *) Updated the ?Success? page that sellers see when they successfully create an item. *) Updated the email the seller receives when his item sells. References where the seller is in the process and what to do next. *) New users can now set their Enthusify account emails when they connect from the forum. *) Improved how users can switch between an item?s multiple images *) Added a ?Report Item? tool below the item description. When someone clicks this, an Enthusify staff member will receive a notification email. *) Added ?Advanced Search? to the marketplace. Users can now filter out listings without images, listings that are sold, and listings that are live. Users can sort listings by post date, price, and Item title. *) Buyers can now specify their forum username when placing a purchase. *) Modified the ?Mark As Sold? feature for improved insight into marketplace behavior. *) Modified the ?Cancel Listing? feature for improved insight into marketplace behavior. *) The search filter ?Show listings without images? is now unchecked by default. *) Improved how the plugin resizes if the window size changes. *) Admins can now ban users from accessing the marketplace based off of email address. *) Admins can now ban users from accessing the marketplace based off of I.P Address. *) Fixed a bug where feedback appears multiple times if a user has connected to more than one marketplace. *) All the pages that are accessed from the ?My Marketplace Tools? button now open in the same window instead of a new window. *) Added a paid promotion option that lets users link keywords in the forum to their listing. *) Added search functionality and pagination to the ?My Listings? page. *) Added a badge in various parts of the marketplace that lets buyers know if a listing comes with Enthusify?s buyer protection. *) Added a new search filter that limits results to listings using Enthusify?s buyer protection. *) Updated the security of the page where sellers create listings. *) Added a badge that proves we are SSL certified by GoDaddy to our checkout pages and listing creation. *) Fixed a one-time bug for users that connect the same email to multiple Enthusify marketplaces. *) Fixed a bug that left a space for the item image on the checkout page, even when the item has no image. *) The ?forum username? field can now be used to match purchases with connected user accounts. Useful for leaving feedback and for the upcoming ?My Orders? page. *) Fixed a bug where users wouldn?t see any results if they made a search that returned fewer result pages than the amount of pages they had already navigated. *) Fixed a bug where edits to listings by mods reassigned the owner of the automatically generated thread. *) Fixed a bug where purchases of offers did not reflect the offer price if the payment was not being processed by Enthusify. *) Sellers can now collect payment with Enthusify and receive a buyer?s payment on the same day. To do this, they need to authorize a valid credit card. This is reflected in all the communication buyers and sellers receive surrounding a listing. *) If a thread is generated for a new listing, the success page will now link to the newly created thread. |
We are looking at this product as it looks very nice and you guys have been great with keeping it up to date.
Question regarding profits... I need a bit more clarification on how conmission is being collected here. Examples If a members decides to place an item for sale and chooses to collecte via paypal only do you guys charge a fee for that transaction since paypal is already chargeing a fee? If a member chooses to sell an item and only accepts CC like Visa and discover how does he get paid once the buyers pays with his CC and does that cost the seller 10% of the sale for you Guys to process that payment for them? Out of the 10% we (the forum owner) gets 5% of that correct? Just trying to figure out the overall expense because if the seller only accepts Visa and how much does this end up costing the seller, can you give a break down on the fees Seller is selling an item for $100 and only accepts paypal ? Seller is selling an item and only accepts major CC card? How does the seller get paid? What are the charges to process and sell the $100 item When does the seller get paid? What is the refund process and what protection does the buyer have? |
To put the following answers in context I should note one thing first. At this time, the Enthusify plugin just has a "final value fee" revenue collection/generation feature. Listing fee and promotion fee features are coming soon. In fact if you visit one of our partners today, you are bound to see us testing those forthcoming features.

If a seller collects payment from a buyer via Enthusify's payment processing service, then Enthusify offers dispute resolution and full refund protection for up to 14 days. A buyer can extend the 14 day protection period by notifying Enthusify that there is an issue. Guys sincerly reading your installation guide, i don't know what to think...
Why you ask to disable the vbulletin protections??? And why the plugin doesn't work of default in https?????????????????????? These are your instructions to install the plugin: Disable The Apache Module Mod_Security Symptom: You are getting a message when creating or managing your Panjo marketplace that says: There was a problem getting your forum info. What is causing this? There are a few potential causes of the above problem, but in 95% of cases, it is because you are running an apache module called “Mod_security” which is known to cause problems with vBulletin. (For this reason, Internet Brands, the developers of vBulletin, have even created a diagnostic tool to detect the more serious issues caused by this module.) What is this module for? The short answer is that it exists as a backup for insecure code on your site. vBulletin is secure by default. An example for potentially insecure code would be custom code written by inexperienced vB developers. Here is a link with a more thorough answer: http://www.inmotionhosting.com/suppo...s-it-important How do I disable this module? In most cases, the module has been enabled by your vbulletin hosting company and can only be disabled by them. You will need to contact them to get this resolved. In some cases, you may be able to disable it with cPanel. Here is a link that can walk you through that if that option is available: http://www.inmotionhosting.com/suppo...bers/406-error Alternatively, you may be able to disable it by modifying your .htcaccess file. Here is a link that can help you with that. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...-htaccess-file However, we strongly recommend that you contact your host, since the cPanel and .htcaccess solutions have not worked for sites where the module was enabled by the host. How will my forum be affected if I disable it? It protects against a certain type of vulnerability if the developer writing the code on your server (vB devs or plugin coders) don't know how to make it safe. It has the unfortunate side effect generating false positives and blocking some secure scripts. If it's gone it will stop doing both of these things. This generally only matters to you if you're running insecure, custom code. Other Recommendations 1. Make sure your site-clock is accurate. Time-zone does not matter, but if we make a request at 5:09pm PST and your site says its currently 5:45pm PST, the request will fail. 2. Make sure the plugin is accessible to logged-out users. The plugin is located at your forum root. (Example: http://www.yoursite.com/classifieds.php) The reason for this is that our servers will be treated like logged-out users and can’t communicate with the plugin if a login is required for that page. 3. Make sure that cURL is enabled. 4. The plugin will not work if https is enabled site-wide. The Panjo plugin operates in an iframe and needs to have a certificate FTP’d into your site for HTTPS to work on it. Unfortunately, certificates have to be renewed regularly, which makes it unfeasible for us to implement at this time. I'm a little bit confused... |
We are excited to share that we redesigned the Panjo classifieds plugin for vBulletin thanks to the input of forum owners and the millions of buyers and sellers who use the service.

Ahh ok, sorry..
because I loose many time to write to the Panjo's developers. |
Panjo has released an update to its vBulletin classifieds mod. You can find details on the Panjo blog.
Highlights: - A "Your Account" link has been added to Marketplace Tools dropdown. - This new "Your Account" page allows users to connect their PayPal account to become a Panjo Verified Seller, view/edit additional account information, and view Marketplace stats. - The "Your Listings" page UI has been refreshed to make it easier for users to edit listings, close listings, and mark items as sold. - Users can close or mark multiple items as sold and tab between items "For Sale" and "Sold. |
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to let you guys know that we pushed out a bunch of great improvements to the Panjo vBulletin classifieds mod. These improvements DO NOT require updating the plugin. Here are some highlights: - pressing "Back" in the marketplace will not result in users having to reset their sort & filter settings. - we fixed an issue where certain pages were resizing incorrectly - some users reported problems on the receipt page after making a purchase. Those issues have been fixed. - there is a typo on some listings that use calculated shipping that would read "TDB" instead of "TBD." New listings will now show "TBD" correctly. You can read about all of our new updates in this blog post. |
Massive update to the Panjo marketplace plugin. Tons of long requested features are now available. See: http://www.panjo.com/partners
