Not as far as I'm aware, sorry :(

We don't really do much with WOL since it's such a minor part of our mods.

Hi Fillip

I have a 4.2.0 PL2.

I've installed and I've some problems.

First: I'm setting one template but when I test this is the results (look the pictures):

Can you help me?

Thanks in advanced

DragonByte Tech 09-12-2012 02:44 PM

In the following folder the following file should exist:
/clientscript/ckeplugins/PostTemplates/plugin.alt.js

Go into that folder on your server, delete plugin.js, and rename plugin.alt.js to plugin.js. With any luck, it should work for you.

In my server plugin.alt.js is'nt it!

DragonByte Tech 09-12-2012 05:53 PM

Try downloading it from here: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/vbeco...&productid=129 instead then, maybe I didn't update vb.org with the version containing that file :)

Try and test...:)

jluerken 09-15-2012 10:12 AM

I removed /clientscript/ckeplugins/PostTemplates/plugin.js and uploaded plugin.alt.js as plugin.js but still I see HTML code in the template :-(
Also disabled plugin "Integrate Into vB Editor" - "editor_toolbar_end" but no chance.

How can I get rid of the HTML code? vBulletin 4.2

DragonByte Tech 09-15-2012 01:09 PM

Then it cannot be fixed, sorry :(

Fillip

jluerken 09-15-2012 03:24 PM

Hi Fillip,

there must be a reason why it is working for some and not for others.
If it is working for some there is also the option to fix it for everyone.
I provided you via PM on your system with access info to our system and hope
you find time to take a short look on this.

Kind regards
jluerken

jluerken 10-17-2012 06:07 AM

Is there a kind of a "fix" in the meanwhile?

DragonByte Tech 10-18-2012 01:06 PM

Nothing has changed from my previous post in this thread, sorry.

Fillip

kamrandahir 11-03-2012 10:12 PM

iv the same problem in vb 4.2 hope you ll fix it :-(
i wonder why it loads HTML code instead of BB code !! isnt any way that save that simple bb code and load it on editor ?!
thanks

DragonByte Tech 11-06-2012 01:44 PM

Nothing has changed from my previous post in this thread, sorry.

JesterP 01-12-2013 05:51 PM

I updated to use the alt.js file. This removed the <br /> tags, but it still leaves a space. Is there anything i can change in the js file to remove the spaces that are inserted?

When I switch the editor to code view and then insert the post template, it works fine without adding spaces.

vb4.2.0 pl3

DragonByte Tech 01-14-2013 06:23 PM

Unfortunately there's nothing more I can do to fix these issues :(

Worked for me, thanks!
Now all templates are pasting in bb-codes, not in htlm.

datoneer 01-28-2013 07:43 PM

When i click create category i get this message: A required field called title is missing or has an invalid value.

datoneer 01-28-2013 07:47 PM

Oh sorry what a stupid mistake. It's working! Anyway great mod

jluerken 03-25-2013 03:26 PM

I want to buy and use it for vb 4.2 PL3. Does it work now? Do I get a refund if it does not?

DragonByte Tech 03-25-2013 05:39 PM

This mod is free, you don't need to buy it :)

There have been no changes made since the issue was discovered on a fraction of the forums that use this mod, so if it didn't work before it won't work now, sorry :(

Post Templates v1.6.1
Fix: Uncached template
Change: Changed the Branding display method to inject itself into the copyright footer (underneath vBulletin copyright) instead of the page footer.
Change: Changed the Branding Free Key to a more secure key.

When I made as admin a global post template, the mods have a empty post template field.

I believe I've added a potential hotfix for this issue, can you please re-download the mod and re-upload /clientscript/ckeplugins/PostTemplates/plugin.js

Fillip

W2OE_Prodigy 07-12-2013 08:33 PM

I love the mod and have been using it for a long time now, but there is one thing I wish you guys could implement into it. Is there any way for you guys to make certain usergroups able to edit the global templates? That would make this mod perfect as that feature is something I could use.

Thanks again for your awesome mods and let me know if this could be a future update of this mod!

DragonByte Tech 07-18-2013 07:44 PM

If you re-post this as a Feature Request on our forum here: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50 we'll take it into consideration :)

Unfortunately we can't record feature requests from vBulletin.org as it would get lost in the mists of time :(

I'm having a problem when I enable the mod as followed:

http://puu.sh/5dt7U.png

ozzy47 11-09-2013 07:38 PM

It appears as if you have uploaded the files incorrectly. Please drag and drop the contents of the upload folder (use Ctrl+A to select all files) to your public_html folder. :)

Oh silly me, I suppose that's what I get for not reading instructions, usually the files would be uploaded through the folder they're asked to be uploaded to but oh well.

The last error I'm having is this :

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2013/11/40.png

Which is causing me to not have all the options that I need.

DragonByte Tech 11-13-2013 03:29 PM

I'll fix that for a future version :)

I've already hotfix the version available @ DBTech.

Fillip

wtatech 12-11-2013 01:59 PM

Hey guys. Is this the latest file or the one from DBTech?

Mr_Running 12-11-2013 03:22 PM

The hot fix patch is available @ DBTech Post Templates 1.6.1pl1
