After spending a lot of hours researching about Panda, I am one of the believer that thin and unuseful pages should be noindex.

Installed it a few days ago and still monitoring the situation.

I'm been playing with it a while and I've nearly got my Pandalized size back to normal but I am running the setting at 350 words.

Would love to hear of any other sites whom installed this and can share the results. My analytics are very good so not sure if this would help very much. Bounce Rate is only .84% with over 21 minutes per visit.

That is a very low bounce rate with visitors spending a lot of time on your website.

This mod does not effect pagerank.

Why does this mod not count content in spoilers/quotes etc? Are these bad for seo?

We have a some pages where content is inside quote/code/spoilers, but these are still content google can see, but the mod adds noindex :/

Sure, install it and goto a thread and look for the noindex tag.

Also, how can you be sure it was this mod that did it? Can you post a screenshot of your Google analytics graphs showing when you installed?

Not trying to give you the third degree. I am just trying to learn about this. This seems like it would be great for one of my forums where there is often tons of small talk which is worthless. I think weeding this stuff out would be a good thing.

I would also love to hear from someone that has had a positive and showable improvement from this.. What about it op.. Do you have any stats or data to show?

If you add no indexing for member profile pages, tags, search results, and other unimportant pages.

Adding Trailing slash redirection for example domain.com/ to domain.com

It is not so good to have most of those indexed anyways..search results, tags.. Not sure why it would block profiles unless very short but I don't know..

A good idea would be to set this up to be able to block certain words from being indexed.. This issue drives me crazy. One site is showing many, many thousands of the instance "post" as a main word. Using the comment tag to block these words would take forever.

Any updates on the use of this mod? Stats or anything?
